Re: Under 19 Matters
Must admit the pitches have been great for us thus far and we got lucky yesterday when we lost the toss and still got to bat 1st. Today our middle order had a semi meltdown before Gibbs and Berger saved us from what looked like a certain loss. Tomorrow we face the might of the Poms and will likely be a struggle given they outrate us by 15k to 18k but a Dry/Windy gives us a shot with our spin combo performing well. Fingers crossed we take it up to them

A good effort from our boys against England. It was a loss but we kept it close and showed we have a competitive squad, out rated but we performed well considering NRR may play a big role still.

yes, they are a bit blessed. They are a strong side. Our worry now is to remain in the top 2. Good luck tomorrow.

Bad luck fellas. Pipped at the last by the Irish. Still we managed another decent run in the cup.

Re: Under 19 Matters
Howard and Kusano performed well this tour knocking up a couple of hundred runs each, while with the bowling we were fairly consistent. van Ryneveld, Healy, Fitness and Liebenberg all managed a 4 wicket innings. Van Ryneveld played his debut game this tour after a late call in as a surprise wristy and didn't disappoint with his 7 wickets. Considering we had some unlucky results last season to finish in div3 and went into the cup ranked 12 it was a good result.

Was a tough way to finish the week and just miss out. Overall we had some great individual performances and as boscorp points out the spin bowling in particular stood out. Thanks again for everyones support of SA and as always we are looking forward to building on each season. Good luck to everyone for the new season
