Tour Report
An important tour with the One Day World Cup coming up at the end of the season and qualification still in the balance. West Indies performed very well, achieving 5 wins from 5 and promotion to Division 2.

Highlights of the tour:
Barry Breen 134 against Canada
Monte Morris achieving a brilliant 5-wicket haul against USA and taking 12 wickets across the tour (most of any player)
Richard Hibbert managed 121 runs across 4 matches in his debut tour, a solid start to his West Indies career

Qualification for the World Cup is still not 100% but we are now in a much better position going forward. We look forward to the T20 tour!

Keep pulling West Indies and let's get behind the U20s in their upcoming OD tour!

T20 Div 2 Report (sorry it's late and short as a result!)
Another successful campaign as the West Indies managed to finish with 4 wins and only 1 loss in Division 2 to secure promotion!

Highlights:
Edgar Outridge achieved career best bowling figure of 4-18
As well as both Sandy Shankland and Colin Eugene hitting quality 50s in separate T20 matches

OD Div 2 Report
Having been promoted early in Season 44 to Division 2, West Indies looked to build on the promotion with a solid performance in preparation for the end of season OD World Cup. The Division came to a final day conclusion, with 4 teams only separated by net run rate to decide for relegation/promotion(each on 8 points). With the West Indies set a score of 242 to chase by Australia, multiple batsmen posted solid scores to get us over the line and ensure safety from relegation, but sadly missing out on promotion due to net run rate. Good preparation for the OD World Cup and we hope we can do our supporters proud at the upcoming tournament.

Highlights:
Henry John 5fer (5-35) in the final game against Australia
Colin Eugene again top scoring across the tournament for the Windies with 105 runs across 4 innings

Good luck to all, and keep recruiting West Indies youths, the U20s are doing great and we look forward to supporting them in their One-Day tour next week!

Cecil Davies
Richard Hibbert
John Simmons

Bowlers

Carlton McLeod
George Ally-Haniff
Eric Bailly
Francis Niamat
Edgar Outridge
Amy Weir

This means a debut for Amy Weir. Good luck to her and to her team mates.

Just want to say a massive thanks to Bustergut for his hard work as West Indies NAT manager. After stepping in for Torp's last season, he's done a great job and overall it has been a really successful season (2 promotions, 0 relegations)! Sad that the World Cup losses to Ireland and England probably cost us a semi-finals place, but still a lot to be optimistic about moving forward!

So... looks like you're all stuck with me as there's no other nominees. I hope I can do you all proud as West Indies manager, and I look forward with the help of Bustergut to hopefully a successful few seasons. I'd love for more community involvement and it's been great to see allflattious welcomed into the community. Obviously we'd like to be successful on the field and that's the primary aim. It may be a tough few seasons as there's a few gaps in the squad, but we will see what we can do!

With community in mind I've put together a West Indies Hall of Fame! I'd seen other countries honoured their heroes and past players and thought it would be cool to produce something similar for the Windies. With the help of Penky and crowfan65 I've got together most of the team names (easier) and manager names (a lot harder) of each of the previous winners. I've also made a list of players with more than 2 title winners. I'm really open to running this however people think is best so maybe we could have a few discussions about what people want included and I can adjust the posts accordingly! I hope people enjoy this new addition, I'll post everything I've collated and look forward to some responses.

Thanks,
Maiden

Yeah big congrats to Bustergut on what he has achieved - it was good to recently join back up to FTP and see the Windies in a safe pair of hands.

Wishing Maiden luck in the new role! Give those other nations hell!

Enjoy it bud! :D
Thanks Jonny, good to see someone commenting on the senior nat thread! It has felt as if Buster and I are talking to ourselves at times
