Feel strange being outside of the USA forums.

Bought this guy from the TM for 2k;

16y0w | 19,495 rating | $945 wage (0% discount)

Obviously that fielding is going to take a good season and a bit to repair, which will be too long to make him nat viable, but thought I would post over here as he's an interesting player!
What are you thinking of doing with him once the fielding's up to scratch?
Probably going bowler? I think it'll be too late to make him a AR but may put him on it for just one batting pop and see what happens!
I'd just go pure bowler myself, unless you're keeping him for your senior team, avg batting is always handy at about 9/10 in the order in youths.

I've never had a player with safe hands before, I would think that if it works then capable fielding will be fine.

You're probably right, I'll see how long it takes for the fielding, but I think I'll have to then go pure bowling to male him viable

Sri Lanka have qualified for the U20 World Cup with 1 game to spare

This has been on the back of Upul Sepala claiming 15 wickets @ 5.56.

Sri Lanka for the second world cup under Pauls tenure made a semi final only to falter at the final hurdle.

Unfortunately the Windies managed to chase down our sub par total with relative ease.

Bit of disappointment with what we thought was a strong U20 side that could've gone the whole way.

Good job to the team for a successful run.

Thank you for all those who voted me in 8)

As you are all aware I am a very active member of the forums and intend to be.

I will be encouraging a better youth development path with a specific U18 manager to join the ranks shortly.

Make no doubt, after going so close 2 times in a row now my goal is still World Cup finals!

This will be made harder by lack of seam options and/or depth as well as the core of SL U20 being from 3 key clubs.

Make no doubt however, this is still my goal.

The recent Youth Pull changes have helped Sri Lanka as we were lazing behind on YP's in recent seasons, the development plans I have will hopefully help all future SL U20 stars.

Assistants:
I would like to make the community aware paulc and lesvosace have taken different paths and will not be staying with the Sri Lanka U20 moving forward.

In their place I would like to welcome former MKMC winner Chezza from Chesney's Champions.

And another assistant to be named hopefully this afternoon.

Angolvagyok will also be staying on as an assistant.

Thank you to all Sri Lankan members/fans.

I would like to announce the final assistant to the Sri Lankan U20 setup.

Welcome MVPeters.

MV has been around for a number seasons and has a keen interest in youth development.

He will be helping in the communication with managers of U18 Sri Lankan nationals to provide the best hope for future Sri Lankan National seasons.

Due to the small numbers of Sri Lankan youth players, this role will be vital to maximise our potential!

The team is now complete, friendlies are being played, hopefully success will follow!

So will you aim at the level of my first tenure (2 finals in the first 2 seasons) or second tenure (2 semi-finals in the first 2 seasons)?
