Hi Paul,

Are you generally looking for the same skills that Lesvo had listed on the U20 page?
If not, would you be able to update the requirements at some point?
Generally yes - just a few differences I’ll update

Here's the squad and my thoughts on each player:

Palitha Ajireen 20 rfs our lead finger spinner with 7 wickets in his 5 T20 friendlies
Udith Amalean 20 a late rising batting star with 198 runs from 4 T20 innings in friendlies
Tissa Baddevithana 20 spin specialist and captain, watch out for him on the dry and crumbling pitches
Silida Beatrice 20 rws our main allrounders, average 33 with the bat, 24 with the ball in the one day tours
Manusha Bertas 20 rfm 16 wickets in 9 one day friendlies is a top haul. Yet to do it when it counts but now's the time
Dullas Coggins 20 rm a late recall to the squad, a proven wicket-taker with the old ball
Dullas Edirisinghe 20 experience batsman with a great strike-rate in T-20, watch him go on that flat pitch.
Raj Galappathy 20 rfm finally gets a chance to tour after impressing in his first friendly with a 4-for
Ranjan Jansze 20 lfm our second old ball threat, consistent wicket-taker
M Kuruppuarachchi 20 rfs our back-up finger-spinner, had a debut to forget on tour but prodigy talent means he has improved (?)
Chandra Meniga 20 the accumulator, consistent record, averaging 33 in OD and 34 in T20 tours
Upul Sepala 19 rf our starlet, going to be even more important next season but took a remarkable 23 wickets on tour
Ranjan Shafraz 20 solid but not spectacular batsman, top class fielder
C Vadivel 20 Finisher and keeper, 689 runs from an astonishing 27 one day matches!
D van der Straaten 20 Second of our keepers, powerful and fit, watch for him opening the batting
Chandra Warakagoda 19 Third keeper but guaranteed to be first choice next season, averaged 112 on the T20 tour, twice not out
B Wickramapala 20 rfm took 5 wickets for only 39 runs on the T20 tour, doesn't talk too much about the OD tour
Karu Wijesiriwardene 20 rws our second ws allrounder, scores the runs when needed and picks up a wicket or two each time

Good for the tour Paul! :thumbsup

2 of my ex players there. Udit surprisingly was a performer for may team despite his skills. Look at his neat 50 avg from 56 matches, and Of course, every one knows about Chandra the best pull I ever had.

narrow loss in game 1 (6 runs) - really need to bounce back in game 2 to stay in with a chance for the knockout stages.

A big win it was too...very healthy looking NRR and my punt on Amalean looking astute.
I wish I'd played him yesterday too!

Second win today and up to second place in the group.
Dullas Edirisinghe today's batting hero with 56 off 52 balls. Our wunderkind Sepala pick of the bowlers.

Scotland U20 Sri Lanka U20
Batting - Top Order 10,023 9,529
Batting - Middle Order 9,619 8,412
Batting - Tail 5,325 4,096
Bowling - Seam 9,323 (8) 10,054 (12)
Bowling - Spin 10,250 (12) 10,044 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 10,934 11,071
Overall 176,742 167,519

It looks like Scotland and South Africa are our strongest rivals in the group so we may need to win both remaining matches, against Netherlands (next up ) and South Africa a day later.

tough result for the seniors yesterday.
It looked like a chase-able total but that batting collapse against a so-so LFM really hurt.

We don't know really how to make our bats talk. Bunch of sissies! :x

Should have won the first game as well after dominating the game 90% of the time. Oh well time for a change! Manger needs to be fired!

lost game 4 by 1 run.
So many things which could have gone differently. All 3 games today went against us.

Now need to beat South Africa and hope Scotland lose to qualify.
