Another nice win. That 5th wicket partnership was worrisome, compounded by 3 failed fielding checks. Anyways, another good win for our NRR.TopManager wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:04 pmThanks to a last-wicket partnership of 31, we are able to post a good score of 188. Let's hope the bowlers do the business.

Thanks to a very strong 7th wicket partnership between Lodge & van Ryneveld we have managed to post a sound 170 on Crumbling/Windy. It was about time Lodge did something useful with the bat. However, we did get quite fortunate with van Ryneveld's performance today.
An interesting second innings awaits. We're definitely over par but the score is chasable.

Not our day today. UAE batted well, hopefully, we can do better tomorrow.TopManager wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 2:57 pmThanks to a very strong 7th wicket partnership between Lodge & van Ryneveld we have managed to post a sound 170 on Crumbling/Windy. New Zealand finish on (186-10) - it could have been better for us, but a score which can be chased.

Frustrating loss - not much you can do when a 30k finisher takes the game away from you. Hopefully, we can put it right tomorrow.TopManager wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 2:57 pmNew Zealand finish on (186-10) - it could have been better for us, but a score which can be chased.
Always difficult, with such a rating gap.

We have managed to post an impressive 2203 on Crumbling (hot). Hopefully, the bowlers can do the business and NZ can beat Sri Lanka (as they look likely to do)

2203 really would be impressive. Our 222 still decent. Scotlands run rate is good so we need wickets (currently 81/4 after 17 overs).TopManager wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 3:36 pmWe have managed to post an impressive 2203 on Crumbling (hot). Thankfully, we managed to get those wickets in the end. Far closer than what you would usually expect but that's cricket & FTP.thebof wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 3:54 pm2203 really would be impressive.
