Pokemon is Back!

This time in a new format.
On week 1, 6, and 11 we will create a themed knock out tournament rotating through the badges using different match conditions and formats.

Each tournament will be free to enter, but every game will have the same match conditions.

There is only 1 rule. On round 1 you must make a Zimbabwean youth pull, it's only required on round 1 and that's it. This rule applies to members only, non-members are exempt as they have no control on the Nationality that they recruit.

There are prizes for 1st and 2nd place for each tournament, with the winner getting an official badge in their in game trophy case.
The winner will become the gym leader until a new tournament starts the following season. Who whoever wins the tournament starting in week 5 will be gym leader until the following season week 5 tournament, etc.

Anybody who beats the gym leader in any friendly or competitive match that is in that badges format and conditions, will also have their name on the forum leaderboard and win the badge.

The 1st person to win all 9 badges will be crowned the grand champion and win a massive 3 years membership

Rules

1. There are 9 badges to collect, 1 for each type of pitch.

2. Every season there are 3 knockout cups, the schedule for them are posted in the above forum post. The cup will always be free to enter, and the winner will become the gym leader for 1 season.

3. To participate in this cup, entrants must make 1 Zimbabwean youth recruit during round 1. Managers who are not FTP members are exempt from this rule as they have no control over what Nationality they can recruit from.

4. There are 2 ways to win a badge
A) win a tournament for a badge (3 will be held every season)
B) You must defeat the gym leader in any game within 1 season from the conclusion of that cup, using the same conditions and format. This includes league, cup and friendly games.

5. A gym leader must accept all friendly requests, and is expected to be fair in who they accept when multiple people have challenged them. They are expected to play to their best ability while they are the gym leader

6. A gym leader gets to decide the weather for the next competition for their badge.

7. First person to collect all 9 badges will become the champion and win 3 years membership.

The Boulder Badge leadership is up for grabs!

The Boulder Badge is the badge from Pewter City, and this is run by the gym leader Brock.
Brock has had to leave the Gym due to some personal reasons and now a tournament will decide who will become the new leader.

Brock used rock type Pokemon and so this is best represented by playing on a rock hard pitch.

For this tournament, games will be played in a Senior One Day format and with cloudy weather.

The winner of this tournament will become the new Pewter City Gym leader, they will have the Badge in their in game trophy case forever and anybody who beats them in any friendly or competitive One Day game in hard/cloudy conditions up until week 10 of season 59 will also recieve the Boulder Badge on the leaderboard above.

The winner will also get 128 days of membership while the runner up will get 64 days membership.

Also for 20 lucky entrants who are non-members you will also win 1 month free membership.

Remember the only requirement for this tournament is that in week 1 you must pull 1 Zimbabwean player!
Non-members are exempt from this!

The position for Cerulean City Gym Leader is now open!



Misty, the Cerulean City Gym leader has mysteriously disappeared. Someone still has to step up as gym leader while the investigation is occurring.

This is a water type gym, the bouncy waves of the ocean are kind of like the unevenness of an uneven pitch (bear with me).

This tournament will be on uneven/overcast conditions and will be in a Youth One Day format.

Whoever wins the tournament will become the gym leader for 1 season, and anybody who beats them in any friendly or competitive YOD match in the same conditions will also win the Cascade Badge.
