The first winner of Zimbabwe's player of the week comes from Zimbabwe SOD 1.1 and belongs to Moorlands Radio, Dereck Jackson against the Takashinga Cricket Club.
Tough scorecard to read.
Things looked pretty even against the Takashinga Cricket Club with them 3-89 after 22 overs on cloudy/crumbling conditions.
Derek had a 4 over spell, 2 overs before drinks and 2 overs after. In which he tore through Takashinga with an incredible 4-14 in that 4 over period. It was that spell that set up his ws counterpart to finish off the tail and win by 99 runs.
His final figures were 4/17 from 5 overs and the Radio won by 99 runs.

This week's player of the week:
With the seniors performing well across this week's national friendlies. It is time to delve into their individual performances for their club sides.
Although some strong bowling performances across our squad this week. Jason Nye 123 not out out, leading his side Thumbacks side to a division 1 success in the odi was a clear standout.

As we start the new week with a nail biting affair against Scotland as our tour begins. It gives us some time to reflect on a week of some great performances across our national squad.
Could have been one of many players, with both our batters and bowlers performing well this week for their respect sides.
Honourable mentions first for two players that just miss out on the price this week and that is for Tafadzwa Sodumo who hit an amazing 167 off 95 ball in his sides (Trevor Francis Tracksuits) one day win. A true man of the match performance.
From our bowlers Tinashi Maraire who took 5 for 22 in his sides (Rustars) T20 game.
Finally, this week's winner, Neil Adrianse, who played 3 unbeaten knocks for Superboyz Strikz Back!!! Finishing with a total of 212 runs in the week and being part of his sides unbeaten week.
Best of luck to all players this week.
