Nice pull :thumbsup what are you doing with him? Seems like Zimbabwe have had a few decent allrounders this season.

Finally a left arm fast. Only a poor bowler rating though. Still going train him as a bowler though.

Any other season I'd have been cursing a good pull so late in the season. Glad I'll be able to get full 75 weeks in youth from him.

I'll be getting that fielding up to capable and then he'll be on AR for a long time.

I just pulled this guy. His rating is high enough for a 16yo, but his skills do not seem amazing. Is he worth sticking with or should I just dump him now.

Definitely keep him - very good combination of secondaries for a new pull and 4k of spares. Only decsion is whether to train him as bowler or risk trying as a batsman given his talent. Alternatively stick him on the TM and get some ££ for him.

OK thanks, still not entirely sure how to use rating to judge new youth players. Will probably go batsman, due to the skill.

You can work out the spare rating by working out what the players rating would be if he were at the lowest level for each skill given his current skill levels, as each skill level relates to 1000 rating points such that: Dreadful = 1000 rating, Poor=2000, Ordinary = 3000, Average = 4000, Reasonable = 5000 etc. The player you pulled would have a 20000 rating if every skill was at base, so given that his actual rating is 24100, he has 4100 'spare' rating. As there are only 7 skills, and 4100 extra ratings, it's likely that the player is close to 'popping' to a higher skill level on at least a couple of these skills. Trouble is you don't know which ones....
Does that make sense?

A bit confused on what to do with him & looking for some advice. Don't have any team needs as such, as I'm too new with youth & HG still. Should I go with as a pure bat, AR, given LFM or WK ? Doesn't have too many spares & possibly base.

The reas tech is tempting to go for AR & also due to LFM, but he starts atord bowling. Is that good enough to make him a good AR for youths, Nats as well as seniors ? Am I leaving out making him a psycho bat instead. Also, not sure of WK although it trains well & can make up the Ord wk.

I’d go allrounder or bowler who can bat a little, love left arm pacers but that’s just me.

With him having ordinary fielding and little spares, he will be training fielding for a while so that should give you time to decide and see where he fits in the team.

Should be a nice addition to your squad :thumbsup

Thanks for the input. Yes, putting him on fielding & decide in a few weeks.
