Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Clubs having their Nat players during International weeks would certainly be an issue

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
i don't see an issue with managers buying old players for a week and listing them again or firing them. This is a management game and that is a perfectly valid managerial strategy.
Players being unavailable during nat tours is annoying but i think it keeps the leagues a bit more competitive. I lose out massively in tour weeks but I think it should stay as it is.

Just looked at the schedule and it doesn't show the fitness update time, I could have sworn it used to be shown.

Agree with tonk here, don’t see how letting people have their Nat players available is anything but positive. Anyone with a big war chest can just spend up to cover anyone who gets selected anyway?tonk6464 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 8:24 amSomeone who builds up a huge stack of cash can buy up a whole squad of great players (including very good non-NAT reserves) and dominate the leagues already under the current system.Kaidus wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 8:04 amNah, no thanks. Please leave it as it is otherwise in most 1.1's you'll have someone who doesn't play the game for years, just sits and collects cash, then buys a monster side and storms the leagues. The one advantage regular players who go homegrown/build a side up is that these type of teams can't storm the leagues cos they have three games where they have to take into account player unavailability. Take that away and you'll have the same teams winning everything, and other players getting demoralised as it becomes a "who has the most cash to buy the best" game.
In regard to the oldies in and out tactic, I don’t have an issue with this either but do think there should be some slight adjustments so a player has a minimum contract or something for say 4 weeks and cannot be fired in this time to stop wage hits.

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
on the two points you made Kiwi
1. Is something that is on the table even for standard teams, will help those with homegrown teams where they play a lot of games together
2. Yes if players were available for both at the same time then compo and exp would have to be reviewed

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Yeah it is something that has been discussed on and off over many seasons
I kept a list of a lot of these thing over the years just in case
Still a lot to discuss and test before even getting close but certainly worth discussing

So how does the supporter thing work?
My main team has less supporters than our affiliate but they are enthusiastic rather than jovial as in the affiliates case, yet they lost one supporter whereas the affiliate gained one

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Each team (SOD,T20,YOD) has what is called a soft cap for each div it is in
The calculation runs based on that and your supporter mood
So effectively the more supporters you have the more likely you are lose supporters because you will be at or above the cap for you positions of each team.
We will look at all the numbers and the calc a little more deeply just to ensure we think it is correct and doing its job properly

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
A redesign would be great but I'd prefer the game play etc to be updated first.
