How does the team ranking work?
Is it just ratings or is there something else as well?

We almost have the financial structure sorted out, we should be in a position to announce something soon
It will be a stepped approach but we believe we are closer to making it fairer

Hi crowfan,
What kind of changes are we talking about for youth farms? Financial penalties, or training penalties? I kind of jumped the gun and started concentrating on youth centric team for my affiliate. And also is there a timeline when the potential changes be implemented or how soon can we expect an announcement?

I suspect the announcement will come soon and apply at EOS46 or probably EOS47 to allow time for people to adjust
Initially costs and income will change to make it more balanced so an inactive team will find it harder to make money
Or a team playing half the game will not make as much money from the other half of the game
It will not be a massive change for 90% of teams and in fact make it more balanced for all teams based on current levels of wages etc

Didn't I just answer this up a couple of posts

Any change we make is about making things a bit more even, nothing is expressly pointed at youth teams or senior teams etc.
I promised when these conversations started that we are not targeting any particular method of playing but we certainly saw a need to redress the balance. Every change will be measured against every team so to make it fair to everyone. My guess is there will need to be a few changes over 3-4 seasons to get it right.

Sorry that's a bit clearer
We have been monitoring and the change to age by weeks certainly heightened it
So many people have switched to building from youths that the numbers are skewed
Overall costs went up for youth teams and seniors didn't change that much (in recent times the avg cost of seniors has reduced)
Income was slightly higher overall with YT20 gates and sponsorship but not enough to offset it
Youth farms made less, senior farms made more, the in between saw minimal change
This is on average across all teams involved in the initial data capture (i.e new teams not included)
It is why we are working on the financial model to make sure the balance is improving

Does the 'Sturdy' talent affect the rate which players recover from fatigue during the drinks and innings break? Or just during off days?

How are fielding checks run? Is it scaled against the general standard of players skills for the match or an to an absolute level?
I've noticed a lot of missed opportunities in NT U20 games compared to my own, is this because they tend to have the biggest discrepancy between fielding and primaries?
