Tossing up between bowler and bowling AR. Since he popped first week in endurance (I'm training fielding ofc) It's pushing me more towards AR.

What do you think? For training AR is capable fielding a good level to aim for

should i trained him keeper batsman or all rounder.

What does your team need?

You can go either way with this pull but if you need a seam AR, go with that. If you need a keeper, go with that.

If you're gonna sell when he promotes, go AR, they sell for more.

Player 1 - I’d top up the batting to reasonable then keeper-batsman. Don’t worry if his keeping is one or two levels above his fielding, that’s pretty normal. But most want the keeping technique and batting to be roughly the same.

Player 2 - generally managers do focus upon fielding first. Depending on your academy level, most go to capable. Some further than that.

The problem you’ll have with AR is that with poor technique he’ll take a while to develop. Hopefully for you some of his spare rating is in technique so he might get to ordinary quickly.

If he was my player I’d probably focus on pure batsman. I’d worry about getting him to a strong enough level to both bat and bowl. A RM with no talents or triggers isn’t particularly exciting, which is why batsman might be a good option.

Alternatively you could do some AR training after fielding and if either bat or bowl pops first, you might decision to go fully in that direction.

Medium pacers with a lack on in game talent don't really excite me.

Shame about the waste in keeping, he's a pretty good player. Nice experience and not bad captaincy as well, just good overall.

Personally I'd be pushing that fielding up to capable and then going bowler all out until 19ish and reassess. I know he lacks the direct talent, but gifted power will mean you can probably spend a bit longer on bowling, which will help in the long run.

He also is a bit short on spares (1810 if I counted correctly?) and the skill summary doesn't really tell you too much, but the wage may suggest a lowish reasonable, probably best to go all in.

I should AR is certainly viable, and if you don't like mediums bowlers without some form of active talent, then AR training after capable bowling until 19ish wouldn't hurt, a few batting pops is hardly a bad thing.

As with all my comments, I would recommend waiting for a second opinion
