I should never really replied, probably was wrong anyway, better to let it go for others in the know to answer.
I am considering leaving, so best to leave it as that.
You can't leave the game. Need that comforting feeling when I see you're playing when I create another team in a few years.
When you do, can you call it bobisbackisback please?

I wish you had of left it up a bit longer, I got no other reply, you've been in long enough to have a decent opinion and your probably correct. Sorry to hear your quitting, I hope you reconsider.
Thanks anyway.
your post will disappear anyway if you quit the game, along with records of any achievements such as your club and nat manager participation. even all your forum posts will go at present. Hopefully this will change before you do decide to leave.

How much keeper training do you lose if you select keeper/batting instead of just keeper?
Also, how much batting training do you lose if you select keeper/batting instead of batting?
Just that I rarely see a top keeper with lesser batting, more often I see them in the top order.

Here is a chart of the 5 main skills with the %s for each training

ie.
Batting in Keeper-Bat is 80% of Batting
Keeping in Keeper-Bat is 50% of Keeping

much appreciated, hopefully it will be kept available for other managers and maybe even included in some sort of guide one day. It certainly helps assess your training options.

I am more than happy to share anything that I have used to develop the training guide, and all the tables that are used to display the results.
eg. training impacted by academy, talents, age, skill (outs+)

Two questions:

1. For a youth with a 'prodigy' talent, how much faster (in %) should he train while in the academy?

2. Is there an offsite resource that lists training data/speed per age/talent etc?

thanks

Made me chortle

I'll answer them in the wrong order. You'll see why.

2: There's a spreadsheet tool downloadable from the FTP discord server. I don't really know how to attach it here, so I suggest you download it from there. It was, I believe, originally (and possibly still) created by Turbz.

1: You'd have to be better at reading spreadsheets than me to read the answer off (even if it is presumably stored somewhere for the spreadsheet to function) but a small amount of testing on the tool suggests prodigy trains 1.199x quicker than non-prodigy.

Is this a bug, or intentional game design because he has only played 1 format?

My Player Afzal Kashif has reasonable form https://fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=2461561

Yet in 9 games, scored 6 50s, 43, 7 and one game he was 10no alongside 3 wickets @ economy of 5.50)

I can't wrap my head around how that doesn't result in a form pop or 2? but happy to be educated why,

Thanks

Its because he is only playing the one format.
Form is calculated using points for and against based on performance and calculated weekly. Playing both formats or even playing a junior in a senior match will accumulate more points towards form if the player performs. He may lose points if too fatigued and plays poorly.
Playing 1 game a week his form will improve on paper eventually. He might be getting close.

Thanks Boscorp! Will have to rethink my plan to see if playing full strength next week will pop some form ,

then learn for next season onwards to not worry about fatigue so much aha thanks!

Ahh true! Gutted 1/9 fails and no second game a week costs him, but at least now i can switch starting next season! :)

And i guess all starts no finishes just needed that break through performance

Hi all, there are a few players I have in my youth team about to go up to the senior team next season who I will want to get rid of. I just wondered whether there were any pros/cons as to when is best to retire them (pre or post EOS)?

Thanks.
