Fairly pleasing pop for Burgess after promoting to seniors. Should pop in batting fairly soon, and then I'll just push his fielding up one more.
Looking good. It's nice to have most of the fielding done so early.
Yeah, from my selfish point of view I prefer just getting it out of the way, although had I stopped his fielding at accomplished he may have made the youth nats. I must confess his experience is already accomplished so not too worrying, but it's why I have stopped Wallace's fielding for now!

I also like to get fielding early. My observation is if it is not done early it never gets done to proper level. For NAT worthy players, we should shoot for excep by 24/25 IMO, except for WK/AR for whom spect is fine.

Some decent pops this week, finally Wallace got his bowling pop:

19y8w | 44,553 rating | $3,301 wage (6% discount)

Right hand batsman | Right arm Finger spin

Talents Gifted (Fielding)
Nationality USA USA
Form average
Fatigue revived
Experience capable
Captaincy average
Skills Summary
Batsman reasonable
Bowler expert
Keeper ordinary
Allrounder capable
Skills
Batting ordinary Endurance reasonable
Bowling expert Technique expert
Keeping ordinary Power reasonable
Fielding accomplished
-------------

A couple of fielding pops has meant that across the youth squad my lowest fielding is reasonable.. which is quite pleasing!

Wallace is looking top quality and that's nice going with the fielding! I've got 3 who are below reasonable but they're not 17 yet so I'll let them off! I've just got Norris to accomplished fielding (just before he turns 20) so he's not looking too bad being accomplished batting and accomplished tech. And he'll possibly get to expert tech soon.

This is my favourite pop of the week so far though:

Chris Rush
17y9w | 34,658 rating | $1,367 wage (5% discount)
Left hand batsman | Left arm Medium
Talents Skilled (Bowling), Gifted (Bowling)
Nationality USA USA
Form reasonable
Fatigue rested
Experience poor
Captaincy average
Skills Summary
Batsman ordinary
Bowler capable
Keeper ordinary
Allrounder ordinary
Skills
Batting dreadful Endurance average
Bowling reliable Technique capable
Keeping ordinary Power reasonable
Fielding capable

I think I'll get him another fielding pop before he turns 18.
