Tour Squad Announcement - Nat One Day Division 3
First I shall try to account for the two great mysteries of the christmas period and I think there can only be one explanation for both of them. It seems that instead of writing my christmas list and emailing it to Santa as usual, I instead emailed Santa the tour announcement.
This would explain why I didn't get many presents (I have been good, honest) but also why the USA team managed to win the T20 league for the first time; Santa obviously interpreted the tour announcement as a wish to win the league and duly obliged by granting this christmas wish. Of course, winning the league could also be something to do with a collection of players being developed very well by their club managers and then the USA management team getting the required amount of luck to get them to the top of the league. Anyway, here is the squad eager to get us out of division 3 in the upcoming tour:
Batsmen
Eric Beasley (Allmänna Idrottsklubben)
Alfredo Brock (rogue mercenaries)
Everett Harrison (The Bengals)
Ulysses De La Cruz II (Snickets II CC)
Carlos Riley (Philly_Bluenose)
Francis Graves (rogue mercenaries)
Virgil Griffith (Barnsley St. Peter's)
Keepers
Alfredo Bowers (Ruff Royals)
Ronald Burton (Philly_Bluenose)
Bowlers
Brain Coleman (Groundboys)
Clinton Gallegos (Central Coast Wombats)
Alfredo Diaz (Ruff Royals)
Patrick Hilton (Nimeämätön XI)
Tony Pace (Caterham Crusaders)
Thomas Mosley (Philly_Bluenose)
Philip Rivera (Cupar Cardinals)
Adam Nixon (Relegation Reprobates)
Adam Glenn (Spooning Leads to Forking)
Pakistan are the hosts for this tour while the pitches have been chosen by Bermuda. Virgil Griffith has been pushing for a place in the team and he had to get picked to make his debut. Garcia is noticeably absent as his USA career looks to be at an end. Garcia is surely going to be remembered fondly by the fans particulary thanks to his 41 NOD wickets at an average of 14.85.
Pitches
Uneven v Netherlands
Uneven v South Africa
Sticky v Bermuda
Sticky v Ireland
Crumbling v Pakistan
