Not pulls, but thought I'd discuss a couple of players I've got in the set-up:

Woodchester XI >> Albert Brennan >> Details
Player Info

18 years | 31,782 rating | $1,699 wage (5.5% discount)

Right hand batsman | Left arm Fast
Talents Finisher, Gifted (Batting)
Nationality USA USA
Form average
Fatigue revived
Experience average
Captaincy reasonable
Skills Summary
Batsman reasonable
Bowler reasonable
Keeper poor
Allrounder reasonable
Skills
Batting reasonable Endurance poor
Bowling capable Technique capable
Keeping poor Power ordinary
Fielding reasonable

Still happy enough considering he started his days a poor/ordinary - 3 batting, 3 bowling, 1 fielding, 2 tech, 1 endo pops so far.

I think I need to just hammer bowling and fielding for the rest of youth, but so tempted to continue on that AR path..

Woodchester XI >> Garrett Wallace >> Details
Player Info

18 years | 39,506 rating | $2,283 wage (5.5% discount)

Right hand batsman | Right arm Finger spin
Talents Gifted (Fielding)
Nationality USA USA
Form capable
Fatigue revived
Experience average
Captaincy average
Skills Summary
Batsman reasonable
Bowler reliable
Keeper ordinary
Allrounder capable
Skills
Batting ordinary Endurance average
Bowling reliable Technique capable
Keeping ordinary Power reasonable
Fielding accomplished

I'm guessing that this chap will be good enough for the youth side at 20 :?: , but yeah he's ticking along nicely.
Albert Brennan - from a selfish standpoint I'd love you to go pure bowler from no on. we only have 2 fast bowlers who have capable primaries and your is ahead right now. Freddie Barton (17yo) will probs be first choice when Brennan is 20 so don't feel obliged at all to follow my selfish antics

Garrett Wallace - very nice player, currently leading the pack of the 18yo or under spin bowlers. there are 3 just behind who will invariably overtake as they have the prodigy talent.

I'm happy to to pure bowler. When he hits 21 I'll probably do one season on AR to get one more batting pop, but that can wait until after youth. Needs some fielding as well at some poi t.

This weeks pull:
16 years | 13,284 rating | $418 wage (5% discount)

Left hand batsman | Right arm Medium

Talents Gifted (Keeping)
Nationality USA USA
Form reasonable
Fatigue rested
Experience dreadful
Captaincy poor
Skills Summary
Batsman dreadful
Bowler atrocious
Keeper atrocious
Allrounder dreadful
Skills
Batting dreadful Endurance dreadful
Bowling atrocious Technique poor
Keeping atrocious Power poor
Fielding ordinary

Asked for batsman, so I suppose technically they got the primaries right

My youth recruit was rubbish and has already been fired. But it did get a few decent pops. This was probably my favourite or favourites as it was a double:

Rene Norris
18 years | 30,026 rating | $1,646 wage (6% discount)
Right hand batsman | Right arm Medium
Talents Prodigy
Nationality USA USA
Form average
Fatigue rested
Experience ordinary
Captaincy atrocious
Skills Summary
Batsman reasonable
Bowler poor
Keeper dreadful
Allrounder ordinary
Skills
Batting capable Endurance poor
Bowling poor Technique reliable
Keeping dreadful Power poor
Fielding reliable

I've trained his endurance/power before but I think I should probably do so again at some point soon. I might get another batting pop and then go to endurance or power. Sound sensible?

Yeah, I like getting a batting pop, get 1-2 endurance and power pops then back to primary myself.
Yeah, I think I'll do that. I never particularly like training endurance/power early but sometimes it makes sense and this is one of those times. Also, I suppose it doesn't make that much difference in the long run and, fingers crossed, I'll get some better performances than I would have.

Hm.
I currently have a 22 year old rm, then nothing younger. Will probably train fielding, then AR for a bit.
Thoughts?

Player fired so quick I couldn't copy his stats, and no fun pops either this week!

It looked like I wasn't going to have a spinner for my youths next season (unless I bought one) but I'll take this guy; he should do a decent job for me.
