He'll do but I feel I'm overloaded with 16-year-olds now. Only a couple of training pops and none that were particularly interesting.

Favourite pop of the week. He's going to give me a difficult decision when he turns 21 as I'm going to have 4 young spinners in my senior side.

Very nice, especially with the new youth set-up.
However, his tech is so low that I think I need to focus on either bowling, or perhaps batting (given his skills).
Thoughts?

I think you have a lot of options with this fella. 3 batting/tech pops would somewhat fix his tech and also give you a solid lower order batsman.. I think even AR would work if you alternate tech training until it has settled. Personally I'd struggle to ignore that bowling primary..

Well, he's on fielding for a few pops and hopefully his tech will increase a level.
Then I'll probably put him on AR and see when the primaries pop. After that, we'll see.

I think I'd be quite happy with him. Of course, a different type of bowler would be nice but he's still going to be a solid player. Put it this way, if the changes hadn't happened and this was a week 0 or 1 pull how would you feel about him?

Sure, standards are likely to increase a bit now but he's certainly going to be a useful club player and perhaps even a national quality player (he should be eligible for a world cup if we qualify, shouldn't he?).
