To help guide the development of your youngsters, I’ve stolen the simple stat curve below that’s been used many times before;

16 year olds
Average primary, average technique and average fielding
17 year olds
Reasonable primary, reasonable technique and reasonable fielding
18 year olds
Capable to reliable primary and technique and capable fielding

Endurance should be at least ordinary to average and the same goes for experience.

One bat for the affiliate now, tech is fixable over 5 seasons in deluxe. Glad I passed on that South African youth that went overs the other day, cheers Simmo.

I think with the low fielding and only 4 weeks until the end of season (you’d get one fielding pop) it would be mid next season before it’s up to reasonable. By then I’d be leaning to training him up as a bowler, despite that talent and him being a military medium.

Couple of fielding pops then bowling/bowling tech training should make for a handy youth club player by the time he is 20.
