Ireland League Games and Chat

Very happy with my pre-season business in the transfer market.

Hopefully it makes it stronger next season. We will do what we can with the tough hand we've been dealt with this season.

Season 41 - Ireland Leagues Games & PC Chat

Post by alsybaba » Sun May 19, 2019 7:39 pm

It's that time again. I need to get SS back up to where we belong!
Mind you if we get as far as we did last year in PC That might be questionable.
Chezzas out of PC already. Surely that means 2 x titles, although Dragon Warriors and Redball Slappers be sniffing about, and ourselves in T20.
Someone else going to spring a surprise?

I don't see myself beating chezza. Was hoping chezza will go deep and neglect leagues and steal a game or 2 from chezza :D

I'm torn between winning Maiden D1 sod vs pc but chezza looming in sod does not give me much hope

Lost in the PC but that was to be expected. Got some nice experience into a few lads who need it.

If you need Ashs home address I can get it for you... at a price.

Otherwise I know a few people, if you get my drift. :ninja

Won easily today as Irishman Waters scored a 100 in T20! Mahmud unfortunately was left stuck on 97*.

Youths will be competitive tomorrow but the big game is on Friday against Eternal A.

First blood in the Relegation battle in what has the potential to be the hardest league in the world... again...

The Dragon Warrior 254,689
Shaktar Senseless 241,088
Essex Eagles 230,828
Rebel Spinners 231,430
Chesney Champions 251,843
redball slappers 248,148
Donna's Kebabs 235,888
BTP's Altnaharra Athletic 228,139

End of over 14 (1 run) - Rebel Spinners(70-10). 89 runs required from 6 overs. RR 5.00 RRR 14.83
S. O'Connell 3 (6b), M. Leamy (rfs) 2.5-0-5-4
Essex Eagles won by 88 runs

I'm torn though - as an active member of the Irish community and fellow contributor to our rather limited set of NAT picks, I want paulos to do well. However, I'd really quite like to stay up this season, and, as one of the other "low" rated teams in the division, my best bet is to root for him to lose. Repeatedly. Dilemma.

That loss was absolute garbage and any remaining interest I had in the game is gone. Sold all my best players. Will still rate ok, but have no interest winning the leagues.

Haha no thanks Ronnie. It's only a game... Sometimes a really bad one

Youths won in a nicely contested game.

Two wins from two this week and onto the big game on Friday. Hopefully get some pops with the seniors tomorrow.

Good win in Youth to start off. Rate 97-98k after selling off all my 19yos ...not a bad base to start off, I guess.

Youth 2.1 looks stronger than 1.1 this season

An easy win for me to start as my opponents lineup was in alphabetical order. I assume he had no default lineup and the system made a poor attempt at the team selection

2.1 is not going to be fun this season.
