Thanks heppa and penky :| ... love his talents

My preferred option is probably to keep him as I have no idea what or who I would spend it on if I did sell (and it seems to be good way to enjoy the game more).

As a pretty new player, I also want to train him as best that I can (& not waste him). Interested in any suggestions re training (if this is the best forum) to check my plans.

My youth academy is lavish (can't afford to increase it any further) so hopefully that won't spoil his development too much (let me know if it does).

Cheers jv

A lavish academy is more than enough to get the best out of him. You ideally want him to be capable or reliable fielding by the time he's 21, so you can decide when to train that (in one go, or a level each season). Apart from fielding, you'll be rotating between bowl and bowl-tech. You will probably need to look at a level or two of endurance in a couple of seasons.

I wouldn't touch batting, and you should ignore power until he's a senior.

He will be a great player for your club, well done.
