How can you say the best economy when there is an obvious better economy just under the player you highlighted? Just saying.
Majid Jaber economy of 6 even
Interesting bit of sass from a newer manager who has no affiliation with UAE.

I'd say Moose has done a fantastic job updating our community each day. It wouldn't be fair to point out a minor insignificant error while ignoring everything else.
Sass? If reading and observing a simple error is frowned on then I guess I will give uae a miss in future .
I think you will be hard pressed to find a community that would happily cop an attitude like yours. Good luck with it all anyway :thumbsup

Another failure from I. Saad :thumbsdown

Bit concerning that we aren't rating 250k on day 1 of a tour.

Indeed hepp indeed.

I Saad is a great way to summarise that game.

I’ll issue the full wrap a bit later (apologies I’ve been crook and the time of this tours games is less than ideal).

Well boy wowee here we go again.
Apologies for the jet lag - the whirlwind of tour after tour is getting to my comedy inspiration. Apologies for the comedy in advance.

Another tour - this time she’s a Div 2 One Dayer.

I Saad

I am quite Sad :( :thumbsdown

A 🦆 first ball of the tour...

Tour Match # 1
VS 🇳🇿
Result: 🇳🇿 win by 6 wickets :(

The Match in a tweet: GONE!!! I SAAD IS CASTLED FIRST BALL OF THE TOUR. What a 🍑 from Worthington 🇳🇿

(Occasionally like to grab tweets from the opponents so that no one thinks I’m biased or making these up). #nofakenewshere

Man of the Match: Dinny Botting 🇳🇿

Our best:
Aden Talib - a fighting 80 from the younger keeper on his National One Day Debut. Really the only batsmen to put up any resistance against a red hot kiwi attack.

The bowlers all toiled hard but ultimately we were well outplayed.

Two run outs does make me smile :D

Next game starts in a few hours time (1300 FTP std time).
Tune in as we take on Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

Well howdy howdy. Thanks for tuning into another UAE National Presser.

If you’re here accidentally, thanks for popping by, hopefully see you again soon.

If you’re here on purpose, because you’re a committed UAE fan and you love following the cherished national side through thick and thin, then thanks for being here. I do this for you. I love you.

Another tour, another toil of the heart. Sadly match 2 went the way of the opposition in what was quite a winnable game. The lads will be wanting to turn it around ASAP to avoid the drop and potentially get something out of this tour.

Tour Match # 2
VS 🇱🇰
Result: :(
🇱🇰 win by 12 runs

The Match in a tweet: UAE lose their last 5 wickets for 24 runs as they fail to accelerate through to a successful chase.

Man of the Match: Angelo Mathews 🇱🇰

Our best:
Mujahid Zakiyy - given a chance at the top of the order and grabbed it with both hands. A classy 70 that built a great platform in a tricky chase.

Alan Morrow - 4/55 off his 10 overs. The leggie spun a web for the Sri Lankan middle order and was rewarded with 4 wickets. His first breaking a key partnership was critical to keeping us within touch of Sri Lanka. A touch expensive but Leggies tend to be a bit high maintenance.

Rahul Nazih - 2/46 off his 10 overs and a catch. Knocked over Sri Lanka’s 3 and 4.

Ghassan Wadud - 60 off 64 balls and almost saw through an unthinkable chase. Ultimately ran out of partners before holing out on a questionably high ball.... I don’t want to blame the umpiring but if it looks and sounds like a noie it’s probably a noie. Stiff to get out batting away a Beamer.

Tune in at 1300 as we take on the hosts Zimbabwe.

We looked OK for a bit there. Not good enough in the end.

R. Nazih (rfs) 4-0-26-1, N. Lodge 7 (3b), R. Fidock 6 (13b)
End of over 26 (11 runs) - Zimbabwe(96-5) RR 3.69

We are looking better today. A small chance to get our nose ahead in this innings.

Zim are a tough team to beat.

K. Sameh (rm) 8-1-19-3, N. Lodge 10 (10b), J. van Ryneveld 0 (4b)
End of over 29 (1 run) - Zimbabwe(99-6) RR 3.41

Wanted them to be 5 wickets down before the 25th over, but 6 wickets down before the 30th is good.

S. Naser (rf) 5-0-17-1, N. Lodge 24 (47b), J. van Ryneveld 18 (34b)
End of over 40 (5 runs) - Zimbabwe(133-6) RR 3.33

The 7th wicket partnership is the highest in the game. And I thought we needed 6 quick wickets to stand a chance in the game.

30 runs in the last 10 overs. The saving grace is that we got 1 wicket.

K. Sameh (rm) 10-1-38-4, N. Lodge 38 (57b), I. Mosena 1 (1b)
End of over 43 (9 runs) - Zimbabwe(163-7) RR 3.79

S. Naser (rf) 7.3-0-27-3, I. Mosena 3 (4b)
End of over 46 (maiden) - Zimbabwe(170-10) RR 3.70

Phew... Finally.

Hoping our batsmen show up today and get us across the line.

End of over 19 (4 runs) - UAE(84-4). 87 runs required from 31 overs. RR 4.42 RRR 2.81

Our 3 best batsmen are back in the pavilion. And it’s not even 20 overs
