Nice finish to it. That stupidly poor middle section of the tour has cost us but with 2 teams going up with 4 victories that was a tough one! Onto T20 we go.

Going to be a few of the older players dropped and squad shuffled a bit. The older players don't really perform to how we would like and I need to have an eye on the seasons to come. Give certain positions experience.

Never know. Could bring us some luck!

Winner winner chicken dinner! :party :clap :hug

Great to finish the tour off with a win!

Tour Match # 5
VS Scotland
Result: :thumbsup
UAE won by 6 wickets

The Match in a tweet: Alim takes 2 from 2 to end Scotland's innings. He will be on a hattrick when he bowls next.

Man of the Match: Sharad Hossein (UAE)
A wonderful 78 for the UAE Opener.

Our best:
Sharad Hossein - 78 from the opener after a catch in the field. Provided a wonderful platform for the successful change.

Kamal Qassem - One wicket and only conceded 6 runs in 5 overs. Wonderfully bowled from the offie. Also snagged a run out.

Kaliq Aziz - Two wickets and only conceded 30 runs from his 10 over. Wasn't needed with the bat.

Mu'adh Khaleel - The wheels khaleel taking 3 wickets and only conceded 36 runs in 10 overs.

Hana Hassan - A gutsy 36 and sees out the run chase.

Around the Grounds:
South Africa beat Pakistan by 33 runs.
Australia beat USA by 55 runs.

South Africa and Australia both with 4 wins promote.

We finish the week fifth with 2 wins.

Tour wrap to follow.

Great write up Moose as always :thumbsup
We've got the same top 2 pitches in our tour, but Flat instead of Crumbling, so some of those stats are interesting for us!

Let’s go! A win on day 1 of a tour!

Tour Match # 1
VS Kenya
Result: :thumbsup
UAE won by 21 runs.

The Match in a tweet: Qassem takes 3 from 5 balls to end the match!

Man of the Match: Amir Alam (UAE)
3 Wickets!

Our best:
Amir Alam - 3/16 off his four overs. Spinners absolutely dominated and defended the set target.

Nawfal Shadi - 3/36 off 4 overs. The runout and wicket in the 15th over probably turned the game in our favour.

Kamal Qassem - 3/10 off 3.2 overs. Turned it on at the death to win the game! Also had a catch.

Khayri Salah - top scored with 41 runs!

Around the Grounds:
South Africa beat Ireland by 8 runs.
Scotland beat Zimbabwe by 9 runs.

3 relatively close games for round 1. The lottery continues tomorrow when we take on Zimbabwe. See you at 10.00 tomorrow.

Over the moon with that start. Really wasn't sure how these players would get on but that's a good start. As has been said I was worried we collapsed and ended 15 or so short but Shadi really set the tone early doors for us!

Onto game 2.
