Re: Another wrong runout
Just so everyone understands here the runout is correct but the commentary is wrong, as is the case with the others
I think I may have worked this one out so lets see what happens

From the Canada v USA game:
45.3
2
Faried to Brandt : [missed runout] Square driven behind point. The fielder fires in an excellent return that catches the batsman short as Harvey removes the bails and celebrates.

Re: Another wrong runout
The dismissal is correct, just the commentary is wrong
I thought we had it fixed at one stage but I actually think the game is wrong in its machinations for wk runouts
I will need to check the code and see what we can do

Re: Another wrong runout
Not quite related to the above, but didn't see the point in a new thread...

Verdoorn to Gloury : [runout] Square driven behind point. The fielder fires in an excellent return that catches the batsman short as Hemming removes the bails and celebrates.
J. Gloury run out (F. Hemming) 3 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:42.86
Should this runout be credited to the fielder? or if it is Hemming (WK), should the commentary reflect that the throw was astray and he had to throw down the stumps himself (or something)?
Thanks

Re: Another wrong runout
The commentary suggest the fielder should so maybe we should link it to a fielder runout instead
