not strictly speaking a bug I guess, but my team should have been awarded 5 penalty runs.

The commentary is just a dressing as well, not sure if the umpire would say much in real life tbh

I disagree tbh, it is a legitimate rule as of a few years ago, and players have been penalised for it. I think it may be better to just remove that line.
