So we can't take a trick, 2 for stuff all for the 4th night in a row.

Surely there will be a game where our openers can do their job and see off the new ball soon.

So it has come to pass that we shall demote in our first tour :doh

Not the start I was hoping for obviously.

Bottom line is that apart from Game 2 our batsmen simply haven't performed, and even in that game we were 2 for not many before the fight back.

In the end there is not much we can do tonight except hope to go out on a good note.

Cheers mate,

That has been the story of our week unfortunately. Just haven't taken the chances when presented with them.

So, we finish with 1-4, a crappy NRR and in last spot of D2 and so will be in D3 for the final tour.

We need to switch focus now to the T20 stuff.

There may be a couple of squad changes to come.

Sorry about the lack of communication lads but daytime games in Aus are just too hard to be around for regularly
A brief rundown of each game so far

Game 1 v Zim
Lost by 5 wkts after we just didn't make enough runs
We struggled to get there best bowler away and that pretty much cost us in the end.

Game 2 v Bang
Won by 5 wkts
4 of the bowlers bowled really well with just 1 of them getting smacked around a little
But a blistering start by our 18yo bat who made 57 of 39 balls ensured we would get home despite a late scare of wickets tumbling

Game 3 v UAE
Won by 20 runs
2 early wkts before everyone chipped in to get us to a defendable total of 153
Hanrahan and McBeast both grabbed 2 early ones to have them 4-32
They rallied to 133 but they never seriously threatened after that start

Games agst the Saffers and the Yanks to come
Hopefully we can continue the good form (and fortune)

2 in the last over yesterday fortunately didn't cost us
We haven't had too many and most of our guys are capable so that's not too bad
Senior has bowled well for us again, in his 2 games so far, we may need one more effort from him yet

Thanks mate
Great innings by Mack to get us over the line, just.
Tuff ask to overcome tomorrow given we have been out-rated just about every day
If we win we promote and make the T20 WC
Keep every thing crossed for us

Well how about dem apples?
A great run to finish second behind by only NRR (.0737 or about 6 runs)
Really proud of what we were able to achieve being out-rated 4 of the 5 days, the day we topped the ratings we did so by 23 yes 23 points.
Abd so we qualify for the T20 WC
The drinks are on me :party

So a great week all up.

To be honest it was all Crowfan.

I set orders for day 1 which we lost and Crowy did the rest of the week so a HUGE pat on the back to the big fella.
