I see its time to elect a new U19 manager. Is anyone interested in the position. I'd be into being an assistant for exp before nominating myself so i am hoping someone with an interest in the game who wants to nominate. It would be good to have an active community in here again.

It is very stale in here, and a bit needs to be done in the local community before it improves. As far as u/19 goes i reckon we need the u19 manager or a delegate to come on here and give us some feedback and guidance on developing our players. In previous seasons we have had scouts for national teams contacting managers with good advice on training starting from 16.
Additionally although a bit critical i believe some advice and discussion on match tactics being shared with the current manager would not go astray. Its one thing to train up good players, getting the match tactics right to get the most out of players is what steers the team to a win.

Madder has tanked south africa for every tour so far. I dont understand how that is regarded so lightly in the game.

Its not about how good or bad the opponent was, and we understand its difficult settling in with new squad etc. We are not complaining because we lose. All I and i imagine the others expect is that we compete and try. A win is a bonus, an effort to compete is what we expect. When we open the batting with a reasonable batsmen in one game and reliable batsmen at #11 in another it becomes OBVIOUS something is wrong. To lose intentionally is unsporting and senseless.
