Re: Under 19 Matters
Thats impressive, I think i got up to lavish for a couple of seasons but couldn't sustain it. i'm at excellent now aiming for superior. A lot find the economy difficult to manage, myself included. Maybe a few tips from you on this will help us out.

Re: Under 19 Matters
I tried...and failed. Now i'm about to try again. I thought i was on track and going along well sitting in div2 (all homegrown i think) when I suddenly found myself in the position of negative weekly cash flow. I had saved well over a million in the process of getting there but it quickly dwindled as I recurrently finished out of the prize money for quite a few seasons in a row. wages and academies had been rising while sponsorship and gate takings couldn't keep up. The transfer market was another prob. I had trouble picking the right time to sell players. Now i'm trying again but trying to keep wages down in the process. I'm hoping training fielding more as a youth will help keep wages down and i'll have to get my seniors in the prize money more often. I probably should of dropped back a div for a season when i noticed the finances weren't right.

Re: Under 19 Matters
It's near impossible to maintain a high quality senior side and a deluxe yth acadwmy without tfrs for consecutive seasons. Its pretty difficult getting enough consistent quality coming through. being short on fast bowlers and wrist spinners to replace the older ones can easily happen and you find your team lacking. wages and gaining player experience are a big factor in developing your own youth to seniors.

Here's hoping for a successful tour in Zimbabwe. Should be good wickets for Hyatt and schmidt if given the opportunity.

Pulled this 3 or 4 weeks ago, only have a reasonable/satisfactory academy, should pop to average bowling in a week or two, is he worth selling to someone with a better academy or is he unlikely to make the grade either way?
