Oh I forgot that experience helps with captaincy as well but I didn't know about fielding, would be surprised if that's correct.

To be fair it would be utterly ridiculous for fielding to have any input whether good or bad into captaincy!jabatito wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 1:53 pmI obviously meant that it helps captaincy performance; I suspect that an outstanding captain with reasonable fielding may be worse captain than an expert captain with exceptional fielding. If the Master was here with us, he would have surely replied "that is an exceptional suspicion that am sure you can work out for yourself" or something similarwolfberries wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 1:48 pmOh I forgot that experience helps with captaincy as well but I didn't know about fielding, would be surprised if that's correct.

I would say 'Good Question' as he would love to say but for this one I have to say No, I have never seen or read anything suggesting that. Captaincy helps fielding, the overall fielding is better if your capt is at a higher leveljabatito wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 1:53 pmI obviously meant that it helps captaincy performance; I suspect that an outstanding captain with reasonable fielding may be worse captain than an expert captain with exceptional fielding. Yes you get more for seniors than youths and more as you go up the divsMaverick1984 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 2:18 pmHi,
Thanks for the replies guys. A follow up question then .
Like exp does captaincy skill increase depends on what team he is captaining? Means less for youth and more for seniors?
But even in div 1 it will take more than 2 seasons to get a pop
And capt is capped at outstanding too

I would train fielding all this season then onto Keeper/batting training.
