Re: My all rounder Braggin Rights
Looks a decent player. That Tech just lets him down a little bit but he seems to be performing nicely for youLukeDaywalker wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 9:35 amnot sure where i should post this but was quite surprised at his bowling performance for the season.
04 Apr 20 06:20 1st (Wickets Taken) : Rory van der Poel, Youth 3.2 Season 43
04 Apr 20 06:20 1st (Bowling Average) : Rory van der Poel, Youth 3.2 Season 43
04 Apr 20 06:20 1st (Bowling Strikerate) : Rory van der Poel, Youth 3.2 Season 43
Rory van der Poel 14 11 3 141 32 17,62 151 93,38 batting suffered a bit
should be a nice addtion to my senior club squad next season as it has many batters of the old guard on their last legs

Re: Under 19 Matters
Ok guys as promised below is our current Best XI from each age group of 17, 18 and 19yos. Our depth seems to be getting slightly better which made the job of splitting some players really difficult. As always there are some very unlucky players to miss the XI but there is still time to keep training them well and break into the side. This is purely an XI based on the best primary players as of today and doesn't consider bowling variety etc. Thank you to all those managers that actively recruit and support SA!

Re: Under 19 Matters
He still has 3 full seasons before the years of max power training so if he was mine I'd be concentrating on Fielding and Primaries until then but your player so your call of course. He's the best batsmen I've seen at that age (may have been better that I couldn't see of course). He's an absolute gunHellbound81 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:59 amKusano popped to spectacular batting. Is it worth going for exceptional?
I was thinking of improving his power a bit, maybe another fielding pop...

Re: Under 19 Matters
It is definitely worth taking his batting further. Take advantage of his gift for batting whilst he is young. Depending on his fielding at present you may want to train it up and allow technique to catch up to his batting. As simmo says power is a bit premature unless it is really low.Hellbound81 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:59 amKusano popped to spectacular batting. Is it worth going for exceptional?
