Well, I'd thought we'd definitely lost after going to 61-4 as we never do well when we've lost that many earlyish wickets. However, Bowers hit 76 before getting out. That's not his highest totals by any means but it is certainly one of his more useful totals and one which could possibly win us the game.

That's a big win, especially as we looked in dire straits early on. Bowers has to take a lot of credit for this win with his game changing 76. All the bowlers, except my spinner, did well with Diaz claiming the best figures of 3-15 as we bowled them out for 94.

I made a minor change to the batting line-up and I'd say it was successful this time. Whitehead hit 57 as he moved up to open the batting. Santos hit 42. Ball possibly won us the game earlier when he finished with 4-0-12-6.

I even managed to get some experience for a 16-year-old batsmen.
