Re: U20 second tour - T20
Is it wrong to root for an individual? Hopefully Douglas van der Straaten goes well
And, given you are not playing Kenya, good luck to the rest of the team i suppose

Dang
Sa'u to van der Straaten : Oh my! van der Straaten looked like an under 12s player with that shot. Attempted to play a cover drive and the ball snuck under the bat and cleaned bowled him. Sa'u and Chorley send him off with a bit of verbal attitude.D. van der Straaten b. W. Sa'u 8 (5b 2x4 0x6) SR:160.00

Sorry for imposing on the U20s thread, but was wondering about this guy, and I figure he may feature eventually.
So I'm just a bit early. 4 or so seasons early!
Is he a straight bat all the way? #4 (or #5) with the spin spec and captaincy bonus?
Or would anyone consider going AR with him?
Luxurious YA at the moment, and hopefully deluxe in the not so distant future.

Agree with Summit. Straight bat annd try to give him some games as captain he has reli as a base and spin spec natural leader is a nice set of talents for a captain.Tdk1023 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 1:03 pmSorry for imposing on the U20s thread, but was wondering about this guy, and I figure he may feature eventually.

Obviously that fielding is going to take a good season and a bit to repair, which will be too long to make him nat viable, but thought I would post over here as he's an interesting player!

What are you thinking of doing with him once the fielding's up to scratch?darkmatter wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 10:52 pm

Probably going bowler? I think it'll be too late to make him a AR but may put him on it for just one batting pop and see what happens!Angolvagyok wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:53 amWhat are you thinking of doing with him once the fielding's up to scratch?darkmatter wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 10:52 pm
