Re: Quick Questions V4
Question: I know that fatigue plays a part in this game but, what am I to expect? As in.. Do you need to have replacements for everyone on each of your teams? I seen after my first T20 match the ones who played went from "rested" to "energetic" so are these people going to go down 2 or 3 ratings after the next game in a couple of days? I assume endurance has something to do with it as well.
Can anyone give me a bit of a rundown concerning fatigue? I am thinking this is something very important to the season. Or, maybe, I should find a mentor!

Fatigue is important in the game to prevent teams playing the same XI in every match. You don't need a replacement for every player, but do require a squad with extra bats and keeper, and variety with the bowlers, to rotate through. Depending on your leagues and age/endurance of the players, determines how many players you need. A squad of 15 is plenty for a new team.JarlOlaf wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 3:51 amQuestion: I know that fatigue plays a part in this game but, what am I to expect? As in.. After every match, a player's fatigue is updated to reflect the amount of involvement in the match, also depends on the type of match and weather. Each day, a player recovers from fatigue which is dependent upon age and endurance.
You can send me an in-game message anytime asking about certain aspects of the game, happy to help.

Also fatigue plays a part in training. Players get penalties to training if they fall under moderate by the weekly training update.

I just found that part in the manual (I must have skipped that part). I am sure I will figure everything out after a few games. I can't believe it has taken me this long to find this website. This seems like great fun!

Re: Quick Questions V4
With the new age changes, do the training increases/decreases change weekly now or is it still done when they age a year?
Same with fatigue hits/recoveries?
If it's still the same as before , any thoughts on changing to weekly?
Cheers

Re: Quick Questions V4
Still the same, based on the age in years
At this stage no thoughts on changing to weekly though the whole thing may at least get a tweak in the near future

Re: Quick Questions V4
Thats purely a personal choice;
Some will train up to similar to seamers, maybe a level or two behind
Some only train to reli/accom and some don't train at all
I am mostly in the first camp, train power to a couple of levels behind what I do for seamers

Re: Quick Questions V4
Why does the supports mood reset every season? I'd be happy if there is a game engine/balance reason but it seems a little odd looking as a simulation.
