When I took over a couple of seasons ago, I liked the look of it and saw no reason to change it.

Although the U19 part of it is now out of date, I'm going to stick with it. I like it. Cheers.

A successful tour finishing second with 4 wins and promoting to Div 2. Really happy with the progress considering we had fewer 20yo touring than most.

I currently have 11 20yo in the squad of 30 and I plan to play them all in tomorrows friendly against Australia to give them a send off. After that, next week I'll get a squad together for next season where hopefully we can keep up the momentum of this week.

Big thanks to the 11 players and their club managers playing their final game for Zim U20s tomorrow...

Thank you very much for voting me in for another term.

I've added FritsNL as an assistant. He's got lots of experience, has managed at youth international level before and I'm sure will help us get stronger. Welcome aboard.

I'll be assessing the squad this week and finalising it. Check out the squad blog for requirements.

Any questions or comments, fire away.

I like the look of him a lot. Thanks for sharing.

My advice is to get fielding up to capable and then work hard on batting/technique. Endurance when he get's to 19 needs to be higher if he's to be part of national squad as well.

Looks like a decent pull and should develop into a good batsman.

Another tour ends and it's another tour where we haven't promoted unfortunately with 2 wins and 3 defeats.

I've really enjoyed being a national manager, but it perhaps needs a fresh view with our squad and tactics so I won't be reapplying for the job at the end of the season. Whoever wants and gets the job will have my full support if they have any questions. In the next few weeks I'll still be working hard to get players involved in friendlies and sort out a squad with new players who are eligible for the first tour of next season.

Thanks very much for voting me in twice for the job.
