C. Green (lws) 4-0-32-1, F. Best 18 (10b), C. Paton 3 (3b)
End of over 20 (6 runs) - Ruff Royals(173-4) RR 8.65

I'm happy with that total on a slow pitch. Avila was the star with 66 from 47 balls and Brown was the next best with 48 from 32 balls.

I'm still not completley confident that my bowlers will be good enough but at least we've given ourselves a chance.

E. Perry (rm) 4-0-25-2, H. Crawford 26 (20b), K. Abdul 0 (0b)
End of over 8 (7 runs) - bluekipper8878(58-2). 116 runs required from 12 overs. RR 7.25 RRR 9.67

We need more wickets and for that RRR to get over 12 before I think we might be doing alright.

P. Bezuidenhout (lfm) 8-0-50-2, L. Bruce 3 (2b), J. House 12 (6b)
End of over 40 (15 runs) - Ruff Royals(268-8) RR 6.70

Okay total on a flat pitch. I suspect it might not be enough as I've gone with a younger team.

S. Clouston (rf) 4-0-20-1, E. Quinn 10 (19b), C. McCarthy 24 (24b)
End of over 8 (2 runs) - bigsexybarry(45-1). 224 runs required from 32 overs. RR 5.62 RRR 7.00

An early wicket but I think we're going to struggle with the bowling.

Bowling - Spin 7,202 (24) 4,238 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 5,979 7,987
Overall 121,172 115,957

We didn't have enough firepower in the bowling to do much damage although Clouston did well with 2-47 considering it was a flat pitch.

I'm quite pleased with the ratings considering I only had one 20-year-old playing.

It's been a tough game so far against Lord Rockingham's XI despite them being in the relegation zone and us being in top spot.

We won the toss and decided to have a bowl. They managed to get to 127-1 and things were looking dire for us but we fought back with Moses picking up the two crucial wickets of Baddewithana (64) and Mandyam (55). Perry then weighed in with 3 quick wickets to take his final figures to 4-42. We need one more wicket to bowl them out for what I'd like to think is a chaseable total although it won't be a foregone conclusion.

Home against Inchigeela Angels on uneven/overcast, won the toss and had a bat. Our BH triggered several times with 96 (101) in a 146 run 2nd wicket partnership. After that it was a fairly quick collapse, but even so 235/10 is a pretty decent score for the conditions. Inchigeela do have a very strong top order batting, so I suspect the first 10-15 overs of their innings will be crucial in determining the winner :think :think

End of over 50 (10 runs) - wolfberries(282-9) RR 5.64

If we can't defend this total then I will be upset!

It's not going to be an easy chase but it's doable.

K. Frank (rws) 2-0-5-1, T. Brown 20 (33b), B. Issa 0 (6b)
End of over 13 (1 run) - Ruff Royals(57-1). 166 runs required from 37 overs. RR 4.38 RRR 4.49

Okay start although we have lost a wicket. Frank could be a key bowler for them so we've got to see him off and not let the RRR get too high.
