I. Mosena (rfs) 8-0-43-2, I. Saad 59 (107b), R. Nazih 0 (1b)
End of over 36 (2 runs) - UAE(135-6). 36 runs required from 14 overs. RR 3.75 RRR 2.57

And we lose our finisher in the 36th over. Just brilliant!

While we shouldn’t lose from here, crazier things have happened to us

Hello hello! Good stuff Dbest! Thanks for the commentary updates! :clap :party

Finally!!! The boys showed some real heart today. They waltzed up to the hosts and they said hey, we would really like to win and Zimbabwe were like well you did ask quite nicely so sure, why not.

Tour Match 3
VS 🇿🇼
Result: :dance :clap :D
🇦🇪 win by 4 wickets

The Match in a tweet: 🇦🇪 🇦🇪 🇦🇪 🇦🇪 🇦🇪 Winning sure is a whole lot easier than losing. Winners are absolutely grinners. So happy right now! 😍😍😍🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪

Man of the Match: Nantie Lodge 🇿🇼

Our best:
Ismael Saad - Saady makes up for the quacker with a solid 73 not out and a catch in the field. You could tell the lad wasn’t happy about what happened Monday and really showed some resolve and determination as he dug in. Great stuff you love to see it.

Kareef Sameh - 4/38 and a maiden off his 10 overs. The crafty medium pacer liked the conditions today and got his just rewards. His wicket to break the 7th wicket partnership the most crucial with that ending Zimbabwe’s best partnership and allowed Naser the big quick to skittle the tail. Which is the kind of stuff that gets bums in seats.

Rahul Nazih - 1/46 and a maiden off his 10 overs, 22 not out and a catch in the field. Rahul a handy ally for Saad in the chase, coming in and seeing out the chase. Also knocked over an established bat with one that didn’t turn. But the commentators were right that was plumb. “Plumber than Mr Plum the plumber eating a plum pudding” Also the ball after a frog related commentary line. 🐸

Maybe a good toss to lose as the seamers were able to make the most of the humid conditions and contain Zimbabwe before Saad grinded out the chase.

Can you taste that? That’s the taste of victory.
Cherish the victories, embrace the defeats.
Stop and smell the roses today because it feels good to be a winner after a bit of a drought for the lads. Let’s hope they can use this momentum to notch two more wins this week.

Currently sitting above Scotland and Canada (who our remaining games are against). So winning these next two are critical.

Tune in at 1300 tomorrow as we take on Scotland.

Trust in the process 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪
Just here to contribute a few cracking commentary lines and spend hours on the transfer market.

Thanks heppa. Send us some good talent for the future :)

Playing Scotland today who have gone with 4 spinners I think.

We are batting first, need a score close to 190 at least

D. Clark (rf) 2-0-11-0, I. Saad 12 (6b), M. Zakiyy 9 (12b)
End of over 3 (4 runs) - UAE(21-0) RR 7.00

H. Douglas (rfs) 3-1-5-0, M. Zakiyy 18 (29b), I. Saad 27 (31b)
End of over 10 (3 runs) - UAE(45-0) RR 4.50

A good start, but we need to build on from here. It's gonna be spinner fest.

Lost both our openers very quickly.

At the halfway stage, we are looking OK to score around 190.
Its a Dry wicket though, so am expecting a collapse sometime soon. :whistle

We lost Salah who was going at nearly run-a-ball for his 46.

End of over 32 (5 runs) - UAE(144-4) RR 4.50

And we lost Wadud very cheaply.
Another wicket and our tail will be exposed. Pretty confident that they can score at least 40 runs now.

End of over 47 (15 runs) - UAE(253-4) RR 5.38

The batsmen have gone crazy. I didnt expect the score to 250+ on day 4 of a tour.
