End of over 20 (6 runs) - wolfberries(117-4) RR 5.85
Not sure we will defend this but at least it's something we could defend, better than I thought we would get especially after Listers innings!

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
I feel like my side got away with that. I thought the bowling was decent and then we got off to a good start. It was a real struggle at the end as we were barely keeping up with the RRR and lost 3 quick wickets. Plenty of sighs of relief from my side!wolfberries wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 12:20 pmRuff Royals wolfberries

I don't think we're going to get promoted or relegated now so it's looking like a pretty uninteresting youth season in both T20 and YOD.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
Away today in Sunny and Crumbling conditions, lost the toss and batting first.
Ended up 175 for 3 against a very fatigued opponent, we've picked a very young side as well, so we may still not defend this total.

Match Ratings
South London's Number One CC Cestrians
Batting - Top Order 10,639 10,163
Batting - Middle Order 8,148 9,605
Batting - Tail 3,304 5,103
Bowling - Seam 10,727 (20) 11,818 (16)
Bowling - Spin 0 (0) 11,101 (4)
Fielding/Keeping 11,586 8,924
Overall 173,454 179,534
A bit of a mixed side with a couple of youth players in there. Won the toss and had a bowl on Sunny/Hard. Opps made a respectable score of 169/6 in their 20, and it looked like a right uphill battle at 34/3 after 5.3 overs. Fortunately a monster partnership formed and we did manage to get over the line with 11 balls to spare. A bit lucky to get the win I'd say, but I'll take it

With 2 players missing due to international duty (my best bat and best keeper) and a couple of players rested due to fatigue, I'm happy to get such a comprehensive win.
It was great work from Issa and Best to help set such a good total. The bowlers all took wickets with 2-12 by Ten Dam being the best figures.
