Re: England League and Cup Discussion
Finally back in Division 2 next season (unless I slip up against a managerless team next week). Also an ultra-rare occurrence of my team winning on a dry wicket (although typically, seamers took most of the wickets)!

Pitch Green
Crucial game and I've changed my pitch to green even though I've been a spin orientated team this season and I'm playing 2 spinners. It looks like they're playing 3 spinners. I need to win and make sure my NRR ends up higher than 2nd placed Inchigeela Angels.
We won the toss and decided to bowl first.

E. Perry (rm) 1-0-10-1, N. Young 0 (0b), D. Hodgeman 3 (1b)
End of over 2 (10 runs) - Gavs Boys(14-3) RR 7.00
A good start but they've got what I think might be their 2 best batters in now.

A. Diaz (rfm) 2-0-11-0, C. Baring 5 (10b), D. Hodgeman 8 (11b)
End of over 7 (8 runs) - Gavs Boys(33-4) RR 4.71
Baring is a wicketkeeper batsman who I suspect is also a good batter so they've still got a chance of getting a decent score. That means we need more wickets and can't afford to release any pressure that we have on them. I decided to give Diaz another chance in T20 after some poor performances in that format recently; he better not let me down again.

S. Hodges (rfs) 4-0-27-2, S. Van Oosterhout 2 (2b)
End of over 20 (5 runs) - Gavs Boys(122-10) RR 6.10
We didn't wrap it up that quicly but I would still have taken this chase if offered at the beginning. I'll cross my fingers that my batters don't mess this up.
In the other important match, Bathaloner need 177 to beat Inchigeela Angels on a hard pitch.
