Game 5

USA U20 won the toss and bowled first on a Green pitch with Cloudy weather.

We lost 2 early wickets, but then our middle order provided us with some runs before some good death bowling by the Americans restricted us to 117/7. Pervez Kazim top scored with 32.

We got 3 wickets in the powerplay and even had them at 29/4 at one point before a 6th wicket partnership got USA U20 within touching distance of the target. Shahid Sadaf then made amends from his previous poor performances to deliver a final over that only cost 6 runs and got us a tie.
Shahid Sadaf was the pick of the bowlers and Player of the Day with figures of 4-0-18-3.

First match of the U20 ODI Tour Division 3 was against Bermuda U20 in Humid/Slow conditions.

Bermuda U20 won the toss and went in to bat first.

NBB Imran Khan struck with the new ball early on and our slower bowlers kept up the pressure on the opposition as some of their batters got starts but no one was able to post a big score. Bermuda U20 ended their innings on 192 all out and all our bowlers picked up wickets, with Imran Khan and Shahid Sadaf both getting 3 wickets each.

We had a solid opening partnership to start the chase and then lost a few quick wickets shortly after. Fortunately Furqan Samad came to the rescue as he was part of a 58 run partnership with Pir Munir and an unbeaten 32 run partnership with Nadeem Ilyas. Furqan Samad ended up unbeaten on 56 not out and his vital innings sees him win our Shahzaday11 Player of the Day award together with Imran Khan, as both players made crucial contributions.

2nd tour match vs Zimbabwe U20 on Sticky/Sunny.

Won the toss and batted first, things did not start well as we lost couple of early wickets, but then a 71 run third wicket partnership helped us get to 171 all out. Shaheer Shad top scored with a fantastic 69 and was supported by Rafiq Albert who scored 32.

Bowlers put in a world-class performance as they constantly applied pressure and dismissed the opposition for just 92 runs.
Akram Ud-Din and Nazeem Vohra were the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets each.

USTADEAZAM55 Player of the Day award is shared between Shaheer Shad for his 69 and Akram Ud-Din for his 3 crucial top order wickets.
