Inchigeela Angels won by 5 wickets

We started great with the bat but lost a few wickets towards the end which slowed us down on a slow pitch although 153 was still a decent total. Our bowlers were nice and economical to start. However, the last 4 overs cost us and, with the run rate required having risen to 10.75, they smashed us all over the park to win with 2 balls to spare.

The good news is that we're 4 points off top spot but that bad news is that we're only 4 points away from the relegation zone too!

easy win today, lost the toss and had a bat, getting 164/5 in our 20. Young Puncheon did well to get 71 (52). In reply opps collapsed to 20/5, and eventually 66 all out, giving us a 98 run win. Pleasing to see our new NBB quick get three wickets, ending with figures of 4-0-19-3.

We started well with the ball but it was a flat pitch so there was always the chance that they would recover. Harrison was the pick of the bowlers with 3-35. We were never particularly in massive trouble with the bat. Ames top scored for us with 75 (his highest score yet). Harrison with 43, and 42 not out from Delap were the other main contributors.

We remain top by 4 points and we play 2nd place next week.

I wasn't expecting to win but it would have been nice not to have been smashed by so much.

Schneider was great with 4-33. The batting was awful.

won the toss and had a bat on sticky/sunny. Unlike our previous home game the batting was pretty decent, Kouyate starring with 59 (86) but Olise, Whitworth and Ebiowei also chipped in with decent contributions to get us up to an above par 192/9 in our 50. In reply opps never looked like they were going to chase it, only all-rounder Birch putting up decent resistance with 46 (80), but in the end we emerged with a 47 run win.

Was a real must win game and we at least stay in touch with the clubs above us (for now). Super competitive league, think someone could well go down on 6 wins, so NRR might prove important. Still think survival is highly improbable, but at least there's still a chance, which is more than could be said the last time we were in Div 1 and lost all 14 games

It was very close but it's a win and I'll take it. They needed 16 runs in the last 2 overs but we managed to restrict them and pick up 4 wickets (3 runouts). Bennett bowled the last over and finished with figures of 3-16.
