Season 49 EOS changes

Post by GM-crowfan65 » Sun Dec 05, 2021 9:33 am

Here is the full list of the changes for the coming end of season.

SQUAD LIMITS

The current squad soft cap or limits as it is called sometimes will be changed from 22 and 23 respectively for the two academies to 25 for each of them. The penalty for having more than 25 in either squad will increase to 7.5% per player.

After 2 seasons when we get to EOS51 they will be hard caps, which means if you have 25 players in a squad you will not be able to purchase a player relevant to the squad over the limit.
  • You will be able to do a YR but they will not receive training or play until you fire/sell a player to make room for them. They will be in limbo until you make room, you have until Sunday at 21:00 FTP time to do so. If not then the player will be transfer listed
  • Players promoting from your youth team will be added to your senior squad but they will not receive training or play until you fire/sell a player to make room for them. They will be in limbo until you make room, you have until Sunday at 21:00 FTP time to do so. If not then the player in question will be transfer listed.
  • Any player in 'limbo' will have the wages paid should there be a finance update
  • If you do your Youth recruit on Sunday then you will only have a few hours to fix it if your squad is already at 25
FINANCE CAP

As of next season your bank balance will be capped at 30 million. At each finance update if the game calculates you will be above 30 million then your balance will be reduced to 30 million. Sounds like a lot of money and you are right with only 8-9 teams with that much but the same amount well on their way there. We expect to tighten this in the coming seasons as well.
One of the reasons is stop managers building a war chest and then forcing others out of the market with large bids but not enough for us to adjust. Secondly to stop teams from doing nothing and building 70 million, yes there is 2 teams around this mark, for reasons only known to themselves.
We will continue to look at ways to stop people from building money by doing nothing including increasing the min wage spend but we want to improve starting squads for new teams before that is done.

AFFILIATES

Now this one may be a little controversial but as we have a few people who basically buy 1 mths membership and credits to create or extend their affiliates we have decided to add a new item to the shop for $12 which will give you 100 credits and 24 hrs membership so you can do the same thing for a couple of dollars less. We hope those members who have membership don't let it lapse as there are other benefits you get and will get in the future for your extra outlay. Feel free to message me if you want to ask questions or complain and I will happily answer them for you.

The FIRE button will be retired

Just a little bugbear of mine is you have to fire a player which sometimes they deserve but we will be kind to them and respectful to the genuine stars of the game and have changed the 'Fire' button to 'Retire'

Similarly with the removing players from the Nat squad the current link will be change to read 'Remove' rather than 'Fire'

Transfers

As of next season, players bought from the transfer market must be in your squad for 7 days before you can sell or fire them.
This will stop people buying and firing before the finance update to stop paying wages.
To aid those to supply Nat players the compensation will increase to 50k for seniors and 20k for youths.
As usual this will be watched and reviewed each season to ensure we are happy with the outcome
