Huge game. First versus second. If I win then I claim the promotion but it's going to be very difficult. I've lost the toss and been put in to bat.

Last game for our LFS today after we bought a better and younger model in the week. Been a great player for us;

4th highest wicket taker in OD with 146 @ 21.58
4th highest wicket taker in T20 with 69 @ 25.19

also a handy bat with 749 runs in OD, bit surprised he never managed a 50!

M. Jeffries (rm) 2-0-13-0, F. Best 22 (18b), A. Bowers 28 (20b)
End of over 8 (7 runs) - Ruff Royals(69-1) RR 8.62

I think this pitch is going to play more like a flat pitch. If that's the case we need to be aiming for 200+.

essentially two aims today, one obviously get the win, and two try and improve my NRR over Bigsexybarry. so far it's pretty even:

End of over 11 (12 runs) - South London's Number One CC(117-1) RR 10.64
End of over 11 (11 runs) - bigsexybarry(111-1) RR 10.09

C. Baijnauth (rfs) 4-0-40-3, T. Liberatore 1 (1b), A. Bowers 52 (32b)
End of over 15 (5 runs) - Ruff Royals(134-4) RR 8.93

So far there's been a great innings by Best (52 runs from 38 balls) and Bowers 52 not out. We need more though and losing two wickets in the last over didn't help. Only a couple of allrounders left after this pair.

T. Faunce (lfm) 3.5-0-23-3, A. Ten Dam 1 (1b)
End of over 20 (2 runs) - Ruff Royals(165-10) RR 8.25

That's a disappointing finish and it's at least 20 runs short of what we'd need to win. We lost the last 8 wickets for just 32 runs.

E. Perry (rm) 2-0-14-1, B. Healy 1 (2b), J. wa Koinange 12 (8b)
End of over 4 (5 runs) - Inchigeela Angels(39-1). 127 runs required from 16 overs. RR 9.75 RRR 7.94

It's not going well. We've dropped a catch already and that's not something we can afford to do with a low total.

P. Callaway (rfs) 2-0-13-0, M. McCann 13 (16b), B. Healy 31 (27b)
End of over 12 (10 runs) - Inchigeela Angels(90-3). 76 runs required from 8 overs. RR 7.50 RRR 9.50

We've managed to pick up three wickets but we need more and to keep get that run rate down. It's a crucial time in the game.

Well, things have gone in Inchigeela Angels' favour with no wickets being taking in a crucial period and they are more or less in control of the run rate.

P. Callaway (rfs) 4-0-31-0, M. McCann 39 (30b), B. Healy 47 (37b)
End of over 16 (7 runs) - Inchigeela Angels(132-3). 34 runs required from 4 overs. RR 8.25 RRR 8.50

We need to be as good or better than they were in the last 4 overs and that doesn't seem likely.
