away to a super strong Inchigeela Angels today, without our best all rounder on international duty, was always going to be super difficult. Opps batted first on flat and got 396 ... basically a damage limitation exercise at this point I think, try and keep the losing margin as low as possible!

A terrible batting performance gave us very little chance and some drops compounded that problem. It was a dry pitch but the seamers did the real damage. In fact, of the 13 wickets that fell 8 went to seamers.

This is the kind of batting performance that reminds me why I'm not going to be winning any senior titles anytime soon.

Lost by 80 runs but pleased with the batting chasing nearly 400. An expected loss against a very strong side missing our top all rounder to nat duty. One win in five obviously a concern have to hope we can turn it around soon!

home against Pedagogs on sticky/humid lost the toss and having a bat, which I would have done anyway. pretty even game so far 110/3 off 33, could do with upping the run rate somewhat, but not a bad platform to go into the last 17 overs.
