Very important game as it's 7th (us) v 8th (them). We decided to bowl first in a game where we were without spinner Westerveld who is on international duty.

I'd say the bowling wasn't great but our keeper Gilbert has to take a lot of the blame. He was responsible for 2 missed stumpings (in the same over), a missed runout, and 2 drops. All that meant Sledgingshire finished on 166-5; a challenging total.

The batting has been a struggle so far and we were reduced to 66-3. We're currently still in with a slight chance but we're going to have to really smash it around the park to get the runs we need.
