at home on sticky/overcast against Ffoh, not really expecting anything from the game. Classic FTP collapse lol 116-3 to 129-10

Had the opposite. Team reverted to it's usual batting preference of collapsing (to 121/9) only for the last pair (of two bowlers) to put on an unbeaten stand of 62, despite my number 11 having a batting average of 2.4 from 17 innings.

We decided to bowl first.

They went from 114-4 to 137 all out largely thanks to Ten Dam's 6-39 (including a hattrick). It's still going to be a challenging total.

I'm very happy with that win. I know we rated higher than them but we still usually lose. 54 for Liberatore and 56 not out for Issa are the kind of batting performances that I haven't been seeing from us lately; more of that please! Ten Dam's 6 wickets were also crucial.

That win should put us 8 points clear of the relegation zone.

Turns out we made just enough after all. Won by 3 runs! Saved by a bizarre 62 run 10th wicket partnership (the highest of the match by either side)!

A much needed win which means we sneak out of the relegation zone. A good batting performance and the bowlers just about managed to keep the run rate under control. Bullock scored 41 and House 73 not out.

We were made to bat first. There was some big overs from our batters but these tended to be followed by some very lean overs so we were probably a bit short in these conditions.

144 wasn't a terrible total but it meant we required some early wickets. Sadly, we didn't pick up our first wicket until the 8th over. My fast bowler was expensive and none of the other bowlers were amazing so they won with 3 balls to spare.
