Overall 123,001 121,668
Dunbrody Academy London won by 3 wickets
I'm thinking that I might knock my experiment with sticky pitches on its head. It has not gone well. Numbers 5-8 did do alright but their number 5 and 7 did even better. Perhaps I'll give it another set of home fixtures but maybe I should use something to take advantage of my good fielding?

We could win the title today if we pick up 4 points. It's going to be a difficult game even though we're playing the 6th placed team as they'll be wanting a win to pretty much secure their status in division 1 next season.

away to Inchigeela on hard, playing three of our 20/21 year old's as already relegated so why not, gives them a bit of experience. Lost the toss and having a bowl, opps 184/2 from 27, looking set for probably 400+

Mills out before he made it to 50 but Clarke does make it to the half century.

Well, things have gone bad quite quickly. 142-3 to 145-7; an impressive collapse which has almost certainly cost us the game.

End of over 43 (maiden) - Ruff Royals(171-10) RR 3.98
It all went wrong and to make things worse the last wicket was a run out which is criminal when there's 7 overs to go.

End of over 42 (1 run) - Ffoh(150-7). 22 runs required from 8 overs. RR 3.57 RRR 2.75
I think we've lost this and it'll be partly due to dropping O'Keeffe in 2 consecutive balls when he was on 17.

It's taken far too long since I first started playing this game until I've finally won England SOD 1.1 but I have at last done it.

They never seem to want to make it easy on me and my team (not necessarily these players) have disappointed me many times before.
Mills' 39 and Clarke's 55 got us to a low but (with hindsight) defendable total of 171. The bowlers kept it pretty tight and managed to pick up wickets fairly regularly. Hodges was the best and finished with 3-15 from his 10 overs and Massey picked up 3 crucial wickets at the end.

was obviously expecting a loss with the team I picked, quite happy with the batting effort nearly getting to 300. Musyoka really struggled with the ball, going at 11.2 per over, but not too surprising given he's reliable summary right now!

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
Makes up for the last ME screwing I got a few weeks ago - outrated by 12k, with worse seamers (especially F/FMs) on a Cloudy/Uneven, but squeak a win. Not as ridicuous as the loss I suffered two weeks ago, but just about evens things up for my team.
