Carrying on the 'form' of last season. Exceptional summary wrist spinner went to 7.2 an over on a dry top, then got bowled out for less than 200 against a team with 1 spinner!

We didn't score quickly enough on an uneven pitch and only had 129 to defend. Bennett did great with 54 and Schwartz was okay with 30. The bowling started off quite badly and we couldn't recover enough to get the win.

I'm very happy with that win. Good batting by almost all my batters. Schmidt was the star with 63 not out from 47 balls. Our bowling was decent enough; not amazing by any means but they did the job.

South Hill Slammers won by 6 runs.

I think this was closer than even those 6 runs suggest as we only need 8 from the last over with 3 wickets left. They were players with reliable summary, average summary and reasonable summary with a reasonable summary player ending up not out so it's a little disappointing that we couldn't quite do it.

I went with the conventional 5 bowlers today but it didn't really work out so I might go back to 6 or 7 next week.

A great win for my side. Delap was fantastic with a miserly 1-14 from his 4 overs (which was slightly spoiled by having 10 runs from his final over) and he also scored 40 not out (beating his previous best of 39).

It was a great team effort to restrict them to 107 on a crumbling pitch. Schwartz must also get a big mention for his 51 not out.

A very pleasing win. 55 runs for Mills got us off to a great start with the bat. With the ball, my two most experienced bowlers were the worst for us. Schneider took 4-32 and Westerveld 2-11 from 3 overs.
