buggidifino held onto it, next challenge is Screw Hawthorn, and if that holds I get another crack.

Yep, impressive work by buggidifino to hold onto the shield. Got a good little streak going here for a first-time shield holder, 4 successful defenses in a row
Have updated the OP

Re: NZ Community Shield - Reborn
So I won the cup on 9th June and defended against Muff on 16th.
Unfortunately I’m playing High Voltage next week so it will very likely return to them.

Re: NZ Community Shield - Reborn
Apologies for the radio silence here, I have updated the Shield history and stats now.
High Voltage did in fact win it off Dreamers, but Kramerica Industries successfully won the shield in the final match of last season and started this season with a successful defense against Herosnzeros.
So Doc currently hold the shield and will be up against Muff in a couple of weeks for the next challenge

Whoever beats me at home now takes home both the NZ community shield and the Pavilion Shield as Jonoo brought it to the NZ leagues.

Updated the shield stats. Doc currently holds it after winning it off Muff last season, but not before Muff claimed top spot on the all-time leader board

Re: NZ Community Shield - Reborn
I have updated the Shield stats for the first time in a few months. 2023 has been a bright year so far for Doc who is not only the current holder of the Shield, but has moved past Muff and Heffner to be outright 1st on the all-time wins leaderboard with 48 wins (30 successful defenses)!
During 2023 we have also seen a first-time Shield holder in Myldinal (The Myldinal Squad), who became the 39th NZ manager to win the prestigious trophy.
Myldinal will get another shot at it, in the Div 1 fixture against Doc this week.

Updated. After Doc's superb run of form to win the Div 1 title, Kramerica Industries will carry the shield into S55 and have extended the lead at the top of the all-time leaderboard!

Re: NZ Community Shield - Reborn
Updated for the first time since Season 57. Refer to the OP for details.
Interestingly, since that time the Shield spent some time in Div 2.
We also saw 4x first time shield holders in VillaNine, kato11, NDLegends, and Mekerz Tanks.
Kramerica Industries has also creeped out to a 1 point advantage over Realism Ravens in the all time charts. Quite remarkable that they could be so closely matched after so many seasons (although it should be noted Doc's team did form several seasons later than Muff's).

Thanks for updating.
My win was a close one, 2 runs.
Once again, I lost it immediately, was also a close game, lost by 2 wickets.
El Dude Brothers hold once again.
