Re: U20 Discussion & Announcements
Got our first win of the tour against New Zealand U20 in Uneven/Cloudy conditions.
Won the toss and batted first, we only had one noteworthy partnership which was 63 runs for the 3rd wicket, but it was enough for us to get to 140/7, Fida Mohammad top scored with 50 and Shan Mulla provided support with 48.
Our bowlers pulled off a special performance by restricting them to just 103 and what was great was that only two of their batters were able to cross into double digits. All of our bowlers picked up at least a wicket each with Bijar Wasan and Armaghan Riaz picking up 3 wickets each.
It was a team performance so I cannot really decide on a Player of the Day.

Re: U20 Discussion & Announcements
Bermuda U20 won the toss and put us in to bat in Uneven/Windy conditions.
Disciplined bowling by the Bermudans did not allow our batters to get set, as only Pervez Kazim could bat freely and he top scored with 75 not out, leading us to 129/4.
Our bowlers generally did well to restrict the opposition but unfortunately some wayward deliveries from Mushtaq Muqeem gave them the edge in the chase, and Armaghan Riaz could not repeat his last over defending heroics as we lost on the penultimate ball of the match which also meant that we relegated

Thank you for having me! I'm excited to help the U20 team grow and succeed. For starters, since I'm still learning some of the intricacies, is there an efficient way to look at all the Pakistani players of a particular age (17 in this case)? I tried the search feature, but it only returns a fraction of the results so I'd appreciate if someone could share a better way of doing it.

Game 2 vs Ireland U20 in Slow/Overcast conditions
Loss the toss and were put in the field first where we started well with a wicket in the very first over, after which their 2nd wicket put on a 71 run stand. Our bowlers made a nice comeback by restricting runs and picking up wickets. At 127/6 things looked good for us but they put on a 68 run partnership at the end to put on a competitive total of 209/7.
All bowlers got at least one wicket but the pick of the bowlers was Saghar Yaqoob with figures of 10-1-45-3.
AR Hannan Umar's promotion to opener did not work out as he fell in the 5th over of the chase, but we had good contributions from Pervez Kazim (63) and Shaheer Shad (52*) which guided us home to a 3 wicket win.
Pervez Kazim is also our Player of the Day for today as he was the anchor of our chase.

Game 3 vs Scotland U20 in Crumbling/Cloudy conditions.
Won the toss and bowled first, but unfortunately today we could not make early inroads which resulted in a 53 run opening partnership for them. Spinners controlled the middle overs but we let them off the hook again as they managed a 68 run partnership for the 6th wicket which got them to 215/7.
All the bowlers chipped in but Shams Hamid was the pick of them with figures of 10-23-2.
Our chase never really got going and it was shown by the fact that only 4 of our players managed to get into double figures. Najeeb Dalpat top scored with 56 but he could not see us home and we lost by 52 runs.

Game 4 vs Zimbabwe U20.
We won the toss and bowled first in Crumbling/Cloudy conditions.
After an early wicket the opposition managed to hold things together and bat steadily towards a good total, they looked comfortable at 123/2 heading into the last 15 overs, but our bowlers made a strong comeback with the highlight being 4 wickets from overs 46 to 48 which dented their charge and restricted them to 206/8. Once again all the bowlers were among the wickets but the pick of them was Saghar Yaqoob with figures of 10-2-35-3.
Once again we had to chase 200+ in the same conditions as yesterday and we got off to the worst possible start, losing 3 wickets for just 21 runs. Najeeb Dalpat and Ata Ghauri then provided great support to Rafiq Saadat Ali who was reading the pitch well and anchoring along our chase. He had stands of 61 with Dalpat and 74 with Ghauri. He fell with 51 runs still required and Ghauri was also dismissed with 27 still needed, which is where our tail managed to hold firm and finish the job for an important 3 wicket win.
Rafiq Saadat Ali's 93 and Saghar Yaqoob's 3 wickets put them in contention for Player of the Day, but for me it was a team effort as everyone put in valuable contributions at times.
