ok, thanks for the response.
then I just keep for the sake of having a Sri Lankan in the team but not try to bump up his experience squeezing him into games.

Re: Sri Lanka U20 National Discussions
We finished the World Cup 3 wins and 2 losses (one a narrow loss to Ireland by 2wickets). We were a bit outgunned but performed pretty well really. We missed the semis by 0.05 of NRR which was pretty harsh.
I’m stepping down. I would like to thank all the managers who have pulled SL in my time as SL assistant and manager. Lesvosase and their team Albino Lion Cubs (and a little bit less so the affiliate) deserve a big shout out, so many good players. Without Lesvosace I believe SL would undoubtedly have the weakest youth group in FTP.
In terms of the future: We should be pretty decent in the short term with a couple of good AR’s for next couple of tours. Long term we’re still really short on talent and our pulls are near the bottom of all nations.
I’m putting forward TheOneDwade to take over from me. He has been our assistant for last couple of tours and is a very knowledgeable manager. I hope everyone can get behind him and he can bring SL to more U20 success.
Thanks all,
Chezza

Re: Sri Lanka U20 National Discussions
Congratulations TheOneDwade! Very excited to have a manager who knows what they’re doing taking over from me.
It’s a great position to be in to have two top managers Levoscase and TheOneDwade in positions to take over SL U20s.
I’ll keep watching from a distance pulling two absolute garbage $500 pulls every week for SL

Re: Sri Lanka U20 National Discussions
Now that I am back, I can do a proper first post.
While I am honored to have your confidence in electing me to this position as the new Sri Lanka U20 manager, the fact is that no one else was running since there were no other election speeches posted, and one of my goals is to bring in new managers with a view to getting them ready for the top job in 2 seasons time.
First thing I want to do is thank the previous management team for all of their hard work.
Next, my goals for Sri Lanka are as follows:
1: Fill any vacant assistant spots with new managers who are interested in Sri Lanka and help develop them for the manager job.
2: Bring back the Sri Lanka Cup and also add a Youth version.
3: Create tipping competitions for each U20 tour.
4: Run a season-long youth pull competition with prizes for best and worst youth pulls.
5: Aim to get out of Division 3 in T20s so that we are in a better position to qualify for the next T20 World Cup if not this one.
6: Continue to maintain a Division 1 spot in ODIs.
You can see from goals 2-4 that part of the aim is to revive community engagement and involvement here in Sri Lanka, and for that I would love to have your support.
