Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
So my YP comp helped Bermuda a bit then

Can’t believe so many managers still pull Australian, it must be so hard to get a player into the Nat squad.

Thats the draw though, you can have a good side and not lose any or many players to Nats

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Should just cap it
Something like 50 per time zone per nation
So if you play in Australia only 50 can pull Australian, 50 UAE, 50 Bermudan ect ect first in best dressed
Still a chance to get 700 youth pulls but won’t happen because the supporter base locations.
Might throw up some eos moves too..
I know what you’re going to say, no it’s unfair on members who pay to get a pull of there choice blah blah blah...
Seriously though and this hurts me as well, what about, your main and your affiliate can’t recruit from the same nation in the same week. Just like you can’t play in the same nation.
Even though it affects me personally as I’m pretty sure I’ve recruited Bermudan for all but the first week or 2 of my whole time on FTP but it may be a way of spreading the pulls around and evening out the pack a bit.

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Aus has dropped over 4% since we made the changes and last season was more like 5%
Another season or 2 and they will get to Nats and we will have a better picture too

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
4%-5% over the last two seasons is only about 90 less.
Gap is still too big though, you guys have done a great job and you can’t fix everything straight away, it needs to be a slow bleed I get that but
Almost 250 to second, 300 to third and over 500 between top to bottom, it’s still a fair old gap.
I know your doing what you can and I applaud you and your team for it. As a domestic manager I wouldn’t care if all my players were from Madagascar, but as someone who’s been involved in Nats with a minnow nation for a long, long time every time I see the stats for recruits I cringe.
It is heading the right way and that’s the good thing about it, just wish it would jump on a train, order an Uber or grab a cab or something and hurry up cos I’m too Danny Glover, I won’t be around for ever.
Wonder how many people just read this and are scratching there heads trying to work out my Danny Glover line.

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
May want to check your math its about 900 players in the last 3 seasons less for Aus
Almost 200 of those over 1k wages
346 of those 900 was last season, only about 30 of those >1k wages
As you said its a start and we dont want to keep twisting the knife
Its not about being even across the board, just more even than it was which I think we have achieved

Do you have the figures for total recruits for the whole season or to hard to work out with all those that were fired?
And the season previous please.
Just want to get a clear sense of the impact the YP comp I ran had.

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
it takes a bit more work to get the fired ones as well
The data I use for this, I look at every week

All good mate
Keep up the great work Gentlemen & Ladies ( it’s not polite to assume).
Question. What changes are we likely to se next and what’s the timeline for the next bout of changes?
