Re: Quick Questions V4
Hi,
Is there any tentative timeline for varies skill pops ? like considering a reasonable academy level, the primary skills (batting/bowling/keeping) pops in 14 weeks when on primary skill training, the secondary skills (Endurance/power/tech) pops in 10 weeks. Any sort of information on this ?

not officially but some people have a rough idea. If you use discord it is probably a better place to ask.

If you do get an answer or reply on discord please come back and share the response here.Ashy1112 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 11:30 amHi,

Some people know roughly, some know with good accuracy and most have no idea. It's been discussed on this forum plenty of times but as the users leave the game so does everything they have contributed, it automatically disappears from the forum. Perhaps discord is better.

There is a bit of a chart on the previous page that might help. Its for a 16 yr old on batting training including the variation depending on your academy.Ashy1112 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 11:30 amHi,

There is 1000 rating points between each level. Track your players ratings each week and you will get a rough idea. remember not all rating points gained go to the one skill, also age matters. Training slows as they get older. If you go back a few more pages there may be some useful info. I don't think many people like to share their information gained over the seasons.

Thanks will check. There use to be a FTP squad tool excel file prepared by a few managers and shared in the forum. A spreadsheet which covers a lot of info like which players to select in the playing XI based on the fatigue and form levels also which bowlers to choose depending on the pitch and weather conditions. It also tracks the skill pops for the players. I remember using it to select the team, compare squad players and TM players and bid if needed.boscorp wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 5:50 amThere is a bit of a chart on the previous page that might help. Thats a bit of a worry, fortunately Ashy1112 got some info from some old posts here as he didn't get a single response on discord.GM-crowfan65 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 11:28 ama lot of stuff gets lost once someone leaves if they posted it

Re: Quick Questions V4
I thought that was resolved years ago when permanent threads produced by the admin team started to collate useful advice such as the threads pitch selection, bowling order tips etc.GM-crowfan65 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 11:44 pmthats been happening since day 1, and a way to keep the size of the forums under control.
I actually thought at one stage you had an admin to assist new players who might have set up some posts with training information thats been gathered over the seasons.
All the posts from cyrus will likely disappear soon along with a fair bit of advice regarding youth. I really think it would improve player retention and interest if we had more information shared.

Re: Quick Questions V4
And they are still there in the new players section.
And the biggest reason for retention is hooking new people in
Of the 13 going bot this coming Sunday, 9 of them have logged in once or never. The other four are 2,3,3 and 7 times
